Act 57: The Underground

-Streets 7:36 PM-

After storming out of Mayuka's house, Yuichi took one of the passes and followed the directions written on it to reach his destination, the underground fighting pit.

However, what he found was a dilpidated building, as well as a metal door with a small opening up top, as well as a narrow slit at the middle. Probably where the passes are supposed to go.

"Is this the place?" Said Yuichi. "I should probably go and check."

Yuichi knocks on the metal door, before beeing greeted by the deep voice of the doorkeeper.

"Passes." Said the doorkeeper.

Yuichi takes his pocket and slides the pass on the hole at the middle. After a short while of waiting, the man slowly opens the door.

"This way, sir." Said the doorkeeper.

The inside of the building was mostly empty, save for a staircade going downwards near the right. This was the entrance to the undergound fighting pit.

-Underground Pit 7:43 PM-

Yuichi eventually waks on the stairs and was surprised at how large the underground area is. Yuichi realized that he was standing at the upper row, while the lower row was where all the fighting took place.

Both the upper and lower row of the pit were surrounded by hundreds of onlookers. In the middle of it all were two men, beating each other to a bloody pulp, until one of them goes down for the count, or until one of them dies.

The rules of these matches were "anything goes". There were no rules to speak of, and combatants can use anything at their disposal. Some fans take it a step further by bring their own weapons to throw onto the fighters, which they can then use to bludgeon their opponents.

However, Yuichi didn't come for the fighting. He came to see where Evelyn Lau was throughout all of this.

Yuichi searched high and low for Evelyn. He searched the whole upper box, as well as the lower area, but found no sign of her anywhere.

"Damn it! Did that bitch bait me again?!" Said Yuichi.

Eventually, Yuichi looked above and saw a door located on the opposite side of the upper box. Which he didn't check yet.

"This must be it." Said Yuichi.

Yuichi followed the path to the door

What Yuichi did not know was that Shino, Mayuka and Jun had just arrived at the pit, following hin despite his objections, all for the sake of "helping their friend".

"Yuichi..." Said Shino, watching Yuichi as she saw him running from a distance.

"Shino, we don't have enough time for dilly-dallying!" Mayuka replied. "Yuichi's might be in trouble right now. We have to keep our eyes peeled."

"Right, Jun?" Mayuka continued.

However, Jun didn't reply. It seems that she was currently preoccupied with... other things.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING, JUN?!?" Shouted Mayuka.

"Hey, you don't get to see this kind of action anywhere else!" Jun replied, while watching the ongoing brawl downstairs.

Mayuka facepalms at the sight.

"Well, looks like it's just you and me, Shino." Said Mayuka.

"OK... let's go." Shino replied.

Mayuka nods as they proceed to continue their search for Yuichi. When suddenly, Jun takes notice.

"Wh-What? Hey! Come back here, you two!" Said Jun, chasing after the two girls.
