(Y/N)'s POV
I woke up gloomily the next morning. I felt someone's arms around me and slowly turned my head to see who it was. "Harvey!" I yelled in shock as I pushed him off of me and onto the floor. Oops. He groaned and rubbed his head. I heard hurried footsteps, and Newt and Gally ran in. "What happened?!" Gally asked worriedly. "I woke up and he was on me," I said with a disgusted look. Newt shot a glare at Harvey and Harvey returned the same look. "Just stay off of her. I get you've known her for a while but don't touch her if she doesn't want to be touched," Galled said to Harvey sternly and I hugged out a breath. "Thanks, Gally," I said and he nodded in response. Harvey got up and walked out too, leaving just me and Newt. "You could feel the tension between you and Harvey even if it were a mile away," I broke the silence. He playfully rolled his eyes at my remark and sat beside me on the bed. I put a hand on his should and looked at him. "What's going on?" I asked softly. He shrugged and shook his head. "He told me to stay away from you. That you were 'his'. Bloody asshole," he said. I studied his features. He was sad, I could tell. I reached my hand to his and held it gently. "Well, he's wrong. I'm not his. You don't have to listen to him," I rubbed his hand gently with my thumb and he looked at me. He just sat in silence studying over me. "Bloody hell you're beautiful," he whispered under his breath and put a hand to my cheek. I felt my face heat up lightly as I stared into his eyes. I really have missed him. He pressed his lips firmly to mine and I kissed back with as much force. He tangled his fingers in my hair and placed his hand on my back, tracing patterns with his fingers. I pulled away and looked at him. "I'm sorry this is just going too fast," I said and walked out. I don't know why I did that. I guess I'm just not emotionally ready for anything. I ran into Mihno and he stopped me. "What's up, dude? You okay?" he asked and I shook my head. "Just drop it," I said and kept walking. The sun was especially hot today, the sea breeze felt amazing against my skin. I couldn't wait to get off of this boat and forget it all. "You okay?" I heard a voice beside me. It was a Brenda. "I'm fine," I said as I continued staring into the ocean. "It's okay to not be okay," she said gently. I shook my head. "Brenda, I said I'm ok," I said and she sighed. "Just tell me what's wrong and I'll see if I can help," she sat beside me. She really doesn't give up. "Newt and I kissed, and I pushed him away. I mean I like him as more than a friend but I'm scared it's going too fast. I mean I haven't seen him in years and suddenly we get him back. I'm not ready for anything," I explained. "Just tell him how you feel," she suggested and I shrugged. "If only it were that easy," I chuckled.
Newt's POV
"I mean we kissed and then she pushed away and said she wasn't bloody ready, Tommy," I was explaining it to him. He chuckled at my issue but I personally didn't find it funny. "Are girls always like this?" I asked him and he shrugged, looking over at Teresa then back to me. "Yeah I guess so," he answered with a small laugh. "What do I do?" I asked him for his advice. "Just explain to her how you feel," he suggested and I sighed. "It's not that easy," I replied. "Well then I guess you'll have to wait until we get off this boat then avoid her for the rest of your life," he joked and I shot him a glare. I want in the mood for his nonsense. "Maybe I could make her jealous," I said and he choked and began coughing then laughing. "Yeah how about you and Mihno flirt around and that'll totally show her," he laughed. "I meant when we get to the bloody safe haven, you twat," I punched him on the shoulder lightly, laughing a bit. "Good luck with that, tell me how it goes," he said, walking away and laughing. I guess I will.
