Amity's blood boiled the moment she stepped inside the door of the condo unit. Her expression reflected a mix of anger, disgust, and dismay. She had a long day and this is what she'll be coming home to.

On the floor were men's clothes. Shirts, pants, and boxers. All of it were strewn everywhere. She had a glance on the kitchen counter which was filled with toppled boxes and empty beer cans and a sink that was full of unwashed dishes and looked like the plates hadn't been bothered to be washed since breakfast.

What's worst is that the whole place is reeking with the smell of cigarette. Amity clenched her fist and gritted her teeth. This place used to be clean, and now it's as if a hurricane had occurred and made it messy as it is right now. She hated the smell and the look of the litter everywhere, she had always made this place clean. And now..

Fury could be seen on her eyes as she stomped towards the living room where she spotted Alexander sitting comfortably on the couch with his feet on top of the center table. He wears a red jersey and boxer shorts and it's as if he didn't noticed her arriving. He lazily pressed the remote control of the TV and was surfing the channels when she called his attention. She angrily grabbed a black shirt lying on the floor and held it in front of him.

"What the hell is the meaning of this?!" she shouted.

Alexander looked at her uninterestingly, "What?" he shouted back. The volume of the TV is too loud for them to fully hear their voices so Amity grabbed the remote control from his hand and turned it off.

"Hey! What the hell! I'm watching!" Alexander protested with furrowed eyebrows.

"I don't care!" Amity bellowed. "What is this? Huh? What the hell is this?" she looked at the shirt she was holding then on the other clothes strewn at the floor.

"They're my clothes." Alexander answered her flatly.

"Why are they strewn all over the place?" Amity pointed to the clothes lying on the floor.

"I was rummaging for clean clothes, I was supposed to go out but all of them are for laundry. These are the only clean ones left." he pointed at the clothes his wearing.

"So all of these are laundry? And you didn't even thought to clean up all of these." she asked giving him an angry stare.

"It can wait." Alexander told her with repugnance. "You can wash them for me if you'd like."

Amity scoffed in disbelief. "What did you just said?"

Alexander looked at her blankly. "I said, you can wash them yourself. Intiende?"

"I'm not your maid!"

"I know, you're Simon's."

"I'm not his maid either!"

Alexander looked at her quizzically, "But you said you do the chores here didn't you? Why can't you do that now?"

That's it! Amity had lost it. She threw the shirt on Alexanders face.

"Damn it! You do your own laundry! I don't give a shit if you're Simon's brother! I am not your slave! Simon doesn't treat me like this! He's not a self-centered jerk like you!" she spat. "Clean this mess up! And the dishes too! I won't clean all this up for you!" she pointed at him with slitted eyes then she hastily walked to her room and slammed the door shut.

Alexander looked a bit stricken for a while and then smirked. "That girl's a wilding.." he scoffed as he looked at her bedroom door. "You hear that?! You're a wilding!" he shouted towards the door. Alexander didn't hear any response. He angrily picked up all of his clothes and put it in a bag. He cleaned the kitchen counter and washed the dishes on the sink. He was finished when she heard her got out of the room wearing a robe and looked as if she was about to take a bath. She scanned the place.

"See? It's not hard isn't it?" she told him with a raised eyebrow.

"Whatever." Alexander went to the living room and took the bag stuffed with his dirty laundry. He was about to go out when he heard her ask him.

"Where are you going?"

"To the fuckin' laundromat." he slammed the door shut behind him.

Amity grinned that she won the fight at least for now. She never thought it would be easy to be the upper hand, but she shouldn't let her guard down.

She took a shower and prepared herself to sleep. Before she lay down she went out towards the kitchen, took out the Glade spray and sprayed the whole place. It still reeked with cigarette stench. Tomorrow she'll deal with Alexander's cigarette smoking within the condo unit. Simon wouldn't like it too. When she sniffed the surrounding and the scent of vanilla lingered all over the place e, she went back to her room and lie down on her bed to sleep with a victorious smile on her face.

Alexander is smoking in front of the laundromat, he's waiting for his laundry to be done. He kept on pacing while finishing his cigarette.

"That girl irritates me. Who does she think she is?! How can Simon live with a pompous girl like that!" he voiced out loud. A man walking his dog heard him and looked at him peculiarly. Alexander return the gaze as if saying "screw you".

What he couldn't believe is that he cleaned up his mess. He doesn't want to, but he did anyway. There's something in that girl that scares him a bit, she reminds him of their mom somehow, the only person that can make him feel afraid.

"I'll make her life a living hell as long as she's with me. Just wait and see, Jordin." he muttered.

He headed back home when his laundry was done. He's still irked about what happened awhile ago. If they hadn't had a bad start he could've been a little nice to her, in fact, the moment he saw her he thought she kind of looked pretty. Not until she opened her fiery mouth. Although he had to admit he was really in awe with her the first time, with that doe eyes of her and thin lips that remind her of a Barbie doll. She had an angelic face but you can tell she has a tough personality, and she had proven that. Jordin is a kickass chic.

Alexander shook the thought off of his head. What the hell am I thinking?! he thought, I hate her! I shall not be fooled by her looks!

Jordin is clearly not his type. But there's something in her that makes her riveting. He had met a lot of girls but all of them were like Cosmo girls, sweet and classy, unlike her. He was groping for an answer on what Simon had seen in her, or what is so special with her. Because for him, she really is a pain in the ass.

He arrived at the condo unit after a few minutes and smelled the scent of vanilla. He was aware that she covered the smell of his cigarette smoke. Alexander looked a bit guilty but then his forehead creased.

Why do I have to feel guilty? This is my home. The hell do I care. he furiously thought.

He walked to his room but stopped when he passed hers. Alexander had the curiosity to lean on her door and listened for awhile. It was quiet, except for the faint snoring he could hear she's making. He covered his mouth as he try not to laugh.

That girl snores? he tried not to giggle and went to his room. He neatly placed his clothes inside his cabinet and lie down on his bed. A few seconds later he drifted off to sleep.
