"Too bad you didn't get to see the look on his face!" Therese exclaimed with wide eyes that showed pure delight.
"Yeah, too bad I didn't." Amity smirked.
Both of them are working on their canvases while Amity talked about her incident with Alexander last night.
"But you know Jordin, what he did was totally rude. I couldn't imagine how a guy could do that to a girl. It's so not appropriate." Therese shook her head.
"I know.." Amity responded.
"How can he be Simon's brother? It's like, they're Yin and Yang, the angel and the devil.." Therese uttered thoughtfully.
"Yep, precisely. You're right about that." Amity nodded her head.
"It's a good thing you didn't see him early this morning. Or else he would've pissed you off again."
"Well, that's why I left as early as I could. Besides, he never woke up early. He's like a kid who has to complete eight hours of sleep. Like four hours ain't enough even if it's normal for adults." Amity laughed.
"True!" Therese scoffed and rolled her eyes, "Hey! You should tell Simon everything when he arrives! Let's see what will happen to that Alexander as soon as Simon had the knowledge of what he's been doing to you while he's gone." Therese told her.
"Yes, I think I should. But what Alexander told me was also true. That blood is thicker than water. What if Simon will believe him instead of me?"
Therese turned to her and smiled, "Simon cares for you. He will believe you." Her tone was assuring.
Amity replied with a smile. Therese was right. Simon cares for her as well. They'd been with each other for a year, and even if it's not that long the whole time she's with him she never felt uncared for. Amity just hoped it wouldn't change a thing since Alexander is now in the scene.
A few moments later Franco had entered the studio to check up on them one by one. He gave all of his students the occasional praise and positive feedbacks with regards to their work. After doing so, he went in front of the class and clapped his hands to call their attention.
"My dears, it's a pleasant sight that all of you had been working hard and seeing all of your work come to life really amazed me. It's spectacular." Franco smiled to all of them. "Now, I will be leaving for the weekend so there would be no Saturday class for you. But in order for you to continue your work, you can bring home your canvases so that you can finish your masterpiece until Tuesday. I have a flight to Cambodia tomorrow noon and will be back on Monday afternoon. So we'll be seeing each other on the day of Elise's choosing." He added. "I am thrilled to see all of your hard work done. Make me proud."
All of them nodded, and with that, Franco bowed to all of them and left the studio.
"Omigosh it's really sinking in right now. We only have three days left. I feel the jitters." Therese told Amity in an anxious way.
Amity looked at Therese's canvas, "C'mon Therese, you're work is lovely." Her gaze marveled on her friend's painting of a lotus flower, "It's beautiful, and delicately well detailed. I like how you played with the colors, the shading.. It's nice.." She smiled to her friend and Therese's face lightened up.
"Thanks, Jordin.." Therese told her and Amity returned it with a smile.
After class they decided to have coffee at La Belle's and stayed there until it's time for them to go home. Amity actually didn't want to go home yet, the thought of seeing Alexander gave her the jitters. She just decided that as soon as she arrives she'll walk straight to her room and pretend she hadn't seen him.
The condo unit is eerily dark and quiet when Amity arrived. It's as if no one's home but her. She opened the lights of the living room and went to the kitchen, she was thirsty and wanted to have a glass of water.
Amity was drinking when she heard someone spoke on her back. It almost made her spit the water from her mouth. She turned to see Alexander with a humorless face.
"Didn't you know it's wrong to sneak up on other people most especially if they have their backs turned?" She told him sarcastically.
Alexander scoffed and raised an eyebrow. "And it's also wrong to put a teaspoon of salt to a glass of water most especially if a person is going to drink it."
"Well I guess you and your girlfriend deserved it." Amity looked him in the eye.
Alexander snickered then slowly walked towards her. Amity stepped back and gulped as she felt she was cornered by him, her back was pressed on the refrigerator and there's no way out for her. Alexander placed both his arms on the refrigerator with her head almost leveled with his and in between his arms. Alexander lowered his head a bit so that their faces were only a few millimeters apart making her feel suffocated, Amity looked away.
"You looked scared." Alexander smirked, "Are you scared? Of me?"
"I-I'm n-not."
"Oooh but you're stuttering.."
Amity could feel Alexander's breathing on her cheeks, her heart beating loudly like a drum.
"Do I make you nervous?" Alexander whispered on her ear.
"What do you want.. If you're going to do something to me just make it quick. But I tell you, you'll pay for it." Amity almost croaked.
Alexander laughed and Amity turned to see his face a few inches away from hers.
"I'm not interested with you if that's what you're thinking." Alexander told her with mockery, "I fuckin' swear that making love to you is the last thing I would ever imagine on doing even if it's the apocalypse. What even made you think of that?"
Amity tried to slap him but Alexander dodged her hand and took a grip of it.
"You would never try to hurt my face again." Alexander looked serious.
"Let go of me!" Amity wriggled herself free but Alexander was too strong and pressed her body on the fridge.
"I will after I do this." Alexander roughly told her. Amity's eyebrows furrowed with confusion.
"What?" She asked nervously.
"This." Alexander lowered his head and kissed her lips violently. He was still holding Amity's arms and pressed his body on hers as he continuously tasted her mouth with his. Amity kept on wriggling herself free as Alexander kept on kissing her wildly and it made her breathless, she needed oxygen. Slowly, his kiss became gentle and passionate. It made her feel elated, she softened for a bit and Alexander's strong grip released her wrists and his hands worked their way down to her waist. Alexander pulled her body close to him and her hands reached for the back of his head and played with his hair while they kiss. Amity let out a soft moan and Alexander breathed heavily, his body felt like he wanted more than just a kiss. He stopped himself before it could get out of hand.
Alexander pulled himself off of Amity who looked hazed. Both of them were breathless. He briskly took off his hands from her and stepped back a few paces from her. Amity suddenly looked confused like she was lost in a dream and touched her lips. As soon as she realized what happened her eyes went wide and looked at him with rage.
"How dare you!" Amity accused him.
Alexander smirked, "You liked it didn't you? I can tell you did. You've kissed me back. And that moan of yours.." he smiled playfully.
"What the hell is wrong with you?!" Amity slapped him in the face. "You are so absurd! I hate you!" She pointed a finger to Alexander and walked hastily to her room. "Go to hell!" She shouted before slamming her door closed.
Alexander was left standing in the kitchen rubbing his face and with a cocky smile on his face. He was about to go back to his room when he noticed a huge frame wrapped in cloth above the dining table. He removed the cloth with creased eyebrows and was stunned when he saw what it is. His face looked a bit sullen at first, then his eyebrows crossed as he looked at it deeply. He smiled devilishly as an idea came into his mind.
