For the past few days Amity was intentionally avoiding Alexander, and it had really hurt him. Most of the time if they were alone in the condo unit she would lock herself up in her room only going out if she had to pee or drink or eat. She didn't waste a single glance or a single word to him while he on the other hand, had wanted to try and approach her but he thought it was going to be pointless. Amity had made a wall between the two of them, and this wall was worst than the first one she had made when they had their first fight. And even if Simon is around she never did pretend to acknowledge him, Amity continued on giving him the cold shoulder. She had really made him feel like he was invisible, at times he actually believed he is.

Tonight was one of those Saturday nights wherein Amity and Simon would cozily sit on the couch watching their favorite TV series. Alexander was only about to have his dinner when he saw the two as he went out of his room making his way towards the dining area. He felt a sudden prick on his chest as he passed by them in the living room seeing them seated comfortably beside one another. Alexander looked away before they could notice the glum look on his face.

He sat on one of the dining table's chairs with a good view of the living room and he silently ate dinner while throwing glances on the two as they watch, his face turned to gray. They were all startled when they heard someone knocking at the door.

Amity turned to Simon with her eyebrows creased, "Are you expecting someone?"

Simon shook his head, "No. How 'bout you?"

Amity rolled her eyes, "My friends doesn't know where I live." She answered, "I'll take it."

Simon pulled her back on the couch, "Let me." Amity pouted her lips as if to protest but she had let him. Simon stood up and went towards the door.

Alexander was seated in a spot wherein he cannot see the entry way of the condo unit, but the name Simon had uttered and he had heard at an earshot didn't escape his ears. He froze in his seat and hoped that he was wrong, although he had a strong feeling that he wasn't. He looked at Amity and his heart skipped a beat. This isn't good. He thought.

Amity must've noticed that Simon was taking so long and so she turned her head, her eyes in wonder and asked. "Who is it?" She saw him standing still, holding the door wide open and it made her forehead crease. She stood up from her seat and walked slowly towards him.

"Simon, what's going on? Who is it?" She asked looking at him as she approached then turned her head towards the person who was knocking at their door a while ago. She flinched as she saw who it was.

In front of her was a girl. She was a bit smaller than her, with doll like eyes and short hair. The girl is wearing a plain white flowing dress just above her knee along with her peep-toe flats. As the girl saw her, her brilliant face turned into confusion and gave her and Simon puzzled looks.

"Who is she, Simon?" She asked almost in a whisper. Amity noticed a look of fear on the girl's innocent face.

Simon went suddenly aware shifting from his look awhile ago which, he was, petrified. "Mia, this is Jordin. She's a friend."

The girl looked relieved and smiled at her, "Hello."

Amity tried to lift the corners of her lips into a smile. "Hi."

All of a sudden the girl's attention darted towards their backs as if she saw someone standing behind them. Amity turned to see it was Alexander.

"Xander.." Mia uttered with a half smile, her eyes looked at him happily. "I didn't know you were back.. It's nice seeing you.."

Alexander smiled back, "It's nice to see you too, Mia. You look like you've been doing well.."

Mia gave him a tiny smile, "Thanks."

Simon butted in taking her attention towards him, "Mia, what brings you here? It's been a long time since.."

"Simon, I just wanted to see you and talk to you about something.. If you're not busy and if it's okay.."

Amity saw Mia's eyes that were now pleading and she couldn't help not to feel a little bit jealous as she saw Simon's face looked worried all of a sudden.

"Sure, come in." Simon let her inside. They were about to walk towards the dining area when he asked Alexander, "Is it okay if we could use the dinner table for awhile?"

"It's fine, I'm done eating." Alexander answered and Simon nodded.

Amity followed them, "Hey uh, do you guys need anything? Do you want me to fix you something to drink?"

Simon was about to answer but he was interrupted by Mia, "It's okay, Simon can make something for me if I'd ask." She smiled at her then to Simon. The latter nodded and smiled back, Amity tried not to squirm.

"You go ahead and watch, fill me in about what happened alright?" Simon smirked at her and she just nodded and gave him a forced smile. She looked at them as they went into the dining area before she turned around and headed back towards the couch. She looked at the TV with an expressionless look on her face thinking if she could ever understand whatever it is she was watching with the dozen questions running in her head right now. She was distracted for a moment when she felt someone sat beside her. It was Alexander. Amity turned her attention back on the flat screen TV and didn't mind him. She's not into throwing smart words at him right now, right now she was contemplating.

An hour had passed and she was just staring at the TV while taking glances at the direction of Simon and Mia who's seriously having a conversation. If only they weren't that far she would've been eavesdropping. What could they have been talking about? It made her curious.

"You should stop doing that you know." Alexander told her and she was startled. She looked at him with his attention pinned on the TV.

"What?" She asked.

"Throwing them glances. It's not appropriate to pry when there's people talking. Leave them be." Alexander answered not looking at her.

Amity was about to smart mouth him when the two approached them on the living room. Both of them stood up.

"Mia's leaving and I'm going to drive her home. I'll be gone for awhile so don't wait for me, I might come back late." Simon told the both of them.

Alexander nodded as well as Amity, who, at the back of her mind shouted for him not to leave.

Mia went to hug Alexander who looked a bit shocked but hugged her back feeling a little awkward. "It was really nice to see you, Xander. I've missed you.. I'm sorry we didn't talked but I promise when I get back we will." She told Alexander as she held his face. Mia then looked at Amity, "It was nice meeting you too, Jordin." She gave her a peck on the cheek.

"So, we better get going." Simon announced and the two went towards the door and went out.

Amity went towards the glass windows, Simon's condo unit is on the fifth floor and waited to see for his car to come out of the parking lot and drove off. At the corner of her eye she saw Alexander come near her and stood beside her while looking at the night sky.

"Who is she.." She whispered. It was a question meant for herself but Alexander must've thought it was for him and he answered.

"Remember what I've told you the night during Nik's birthday party. The thing about Simon's heart already belonging to someone else." Alexander told her.

Amity drew in a sharp breath preparing herself. No, please don't..

"Well, that's her. She's the one who has been keeping Simon's heart. She's the one whom he gave up his heart with."

Alexander's words crashed into her consciousness and it felt like she had died. He wasn't lying when he said that Simon already loves someone else. She didn't believe him and now that it was thrown in front of her face all she ever felt was shame and hurt.
