Tears kept on pouring even if she had already left the condo unit. All her life she'd never felt so angry and out of control. She knew she had also blurted out confounded words to another person for the first time in her entire life. She was raised to be a modest girl, but in that moment she had lost it. All because she was very much angry.
But she didn't regret everything she had said to his face. She thought he deserved it, big time. She will never forgive him for the rest of her life.
Amity kept on walking as people turned their heads to look at her. She was crying and she looked like shit, but she doesn't care. She wants to get away and do something with her painting, something that could at least save it from the sabotaging thing that had happened to it.
She now stood in front of Franco Salazar's studio and knocked frantically, she's hoping he hadn't left the studio yet to catch his flight. An annoyed looking Franco opened the door, but as soon as he recognized it was her he looked shocked. And he gasped as he took notice of her crying.
"Jordin, love, what's going on?" He looked at her worriedly and escorted her inside. He gave her a stool to sit upon and held her hand. "You look distraught.."
"I.. I'm.. S-sorry.. I.. I j-just don't.. k-know where t-to.. go.." Amity told him in between sobs and wiped her tears with her hands.
"Hush now my love, tell me what's going on?" Franco had given her Kleenex for her to wipe her tears.
Amity kept on sobbing and shivered as she show him her canvas. Franco's eyes went wide with disbelief as soon as he saw it.
"Oh dear.." He muttered, "This is a catastrophe.."
"I.. I k-know.." Amity croaked, "I-It's d-destroyed.."
"Who did this unforgivable thing! Tampered such beautiful art! This is preposterous!" Franco exclaimed looking mad. "Who did this, girl? Tell me!"
Amity shook her head, "I-It doesn't m-matter.. I-It d-doesn't matter anymore.." She continued to wail.
Franco hugged her tight, "No, no, no. Hush now child, hush.." He whispered to her, "What can I do to help you my dear, hmm?"
Amity thought it might be to much to ask, but she had to tell him. She tried to suppress her sobs so she could talk straight.
"C-Can I stay here for awhile? U-Until I could do something about it.. I want to save it.." She looked at Franco with pleading eyes. Franco looked at her for awhile then gave her an understanding smile.
"As you wish." He told her softly. "But I must say, it will be tough work. Don't take it the hard way, but to be honest, I think it can never be saved.."
"I-I k-know.. But I have to t-try.. T-Thank you.." She answered and bit her lip, she was about to cry again.
"Now, now. Stop crying." Franco told her, "You'll do just fine. I know you will. I always believed in you." He gave her a smile. "If only I wouldn't have to leave I would help you repair the damage--"
Amity shook her head vigorously, "No, no. I won't burden you that much. It's enough that you allowed me to stay here in the studio. I won't ask for more."
Franco gave her a thoughtful look, "You're one of the best students I have in this class, I know you can think of a way to pull this off."
Amity responded with a smile.
"Here," Franco gave her a key. "Keep this spare key of the studio for awhile. You can stay here as long as you'd like, just don't forget to lock up as soon as you leave. Okay?"
Amity nodded, "Okay.. Thanks again, Franco.."
Franco shook his head, "It's nothing." He smiled at her and stood up, "You sure you'll be fine here alone?"
"Yes, yes. I will."
"Okay then, I have to go now. If you need anything just call me, okay?"
Amity nodded. Somehow her tears had stopped falling from her eyes. Franco took his luggage and was about to go out of the door when he turned his back to her. "Jordin, don't over work yourself alright? Just do it like you are only playing. Enjoy what you are doing, with the thrill of being surprised with the outcome."
Amity smiled at him thankfully and nodded her head. He gave her one last smile as he left.
(Meanwhile, backatthe condo unit..)
Alexander kept on pacing back and forth, his guilt was awfully eating him and it's getting on his nerves. It worried him about where she had gotten off to, thinking that if anything bad might happen to her it would be his own fault. But he has no single idea of her whereabouts, or where she could possibly be at this very moment. He doesn't have her contact number and he doesn't even know any of her friends. He can't think straight, and it's useless.
"You're so stupid, Alexander!" He slapped his forehead three times. "You're an insensitive asshole!" He added blaming himself.
He knew he went over board and he felt really bad. He remembered the look of her face awhile ago and it sent a prickly pain on his chest. Alexander knew to himself he wasn't that evil, as what Jordin had accused him, but this time, he's ashamed of himself admitting it was true.
He really did gave her a hard time since he had arrived, at first he was fully enjoying it, but not until the last prank he'd made. He had hurt a girl intentionally, and it was wrong.
"If something bad happens to her because of me I will never forgive myself." He told himself seriously. He took his cellphone and dialed Uno's number. A moment later Uno answered him.
"Yo, Uno, I need your help. Drop by my place right now, do it real quick. I'll tell you everything by the time you get here. It's really urgent."
