Amity wakes up with a slight headache and a bit disoriented. She realized she's in a moving car and recoiled in her seat all of a sudden.

"Where am I.." She mumbled. Her face was puffy and her hair's a mess. She couldn't fully open her eyes.

"Good morning, young miss."

Amity flinched when she heard the voice and turned her attention sharply at the driver's seat. She squinted at the man driving. "Vladimir?" She asked hoarsely.

"Yes, young miss. Do you need anything?" Vladimir asked looking through the rearview mirror.

Amity straightened up in her seat and rubbed her eyes. So it wasn't a dream after all.. She thought.

She dreamt about what happened last night and woke up relieved, thankful that it was just a dream. But then she recognized Vladimir and it made her frustrated. It wasn't a dream. It really happened. It was real.

Amity swallowed hard. "Are we near the villa?"

"An hour drive more." Vladimir answered and draw his attention back on the road again. "Are you hungry young miss? We can stop over a gasoline station so I can buy you some fo--"

"I'm fine, Vladimir. Just drive." Amity cut him off. Vladimir looks at her again and nodded his head.

She breathed deeply and took a peek outside the car's window. Amity watched the sun as it slowly burst into the horizon. She looked at her watch. It's been twelve hours since she left Simon's place. The thought of him sends a prickly pain in her chest. She knows he very much loathe her now because she lied to him and it made her blame and hate herself. If only she had given him the truth earlier, it wouldn't end up like this. But it's too late. She's going to regret it for the rest of her life.

Alexander's face also crossed her mind. The last conversation they had and the look on his face when he affirmed his love for her made her somewhat ambivalent. She doesn't know what to think or what to feel about it. It was already too much that Simon hates her, there's no room to think of that instance with Alexander now.

And then all of a sudden she remembers. She remembers that during this time of the day Alexander would wake up early to fix them breakfast. She would wake up and see him in the kitchen flipping pancakes, frying eggs and bacon or whatever it is that's available and they would eat the meal together. They would clean the unit, watch a movie, play a game or hang out somewhere. And they would converse just about anything for the whole day. She'd gotten used to it all. Alexander was the one who filled in Simon's absence and it had really helped her. If he hadn't done so she would probably feel lonesome and miserable. She finally admits to herself that she's going to miss him too. It's just that, she doesn't know now what to feel towards him after hearing his last words. She loves Simon but there's also Alexander who admitted his feelings towards her. It was a mess, and she doesn't have time to think about other stuff other than Simon, the man she only love.

She also thought of the few people she left behind who became a friend to her. Therese, Mikael, Nikolai, Uno and Patty. All of them had been very warm and good to her and leaving them pains her as well. But she had lied to them too, and thinking about it made her feel more awful of herself.

And Mia, Amity knew in herself she'll be the most happiest person when she finds out that she had left. Mia can now have Simon to herself and she can never be an obstacle and a threat for the both of them now that she's gone. The thought of them being perfectly happy made her feel helpless. There goes the man she loves, taken away by his old flame.

Amity decided to not think about these things for awhile. Right now she's got bigger problems. She will see her father soon and she's troubled about what he'll say to her once he sees her. Will he still be the same dominating and manipulative father he was right before she had left? And she also thought of the other problem she'll be dealing with. Her marriage to Martin Gatchalian's son. It made her wince. She'll be wed to a guy she doesn't even know.
