Amity avoided Alexander as much as she could and act as if he doesn't exist. Whenever he's somewhere near her she would go to some part of the condo unit where she could be a little far away from him. It's been two days and they hadn't really spoke with each other, once or twice Alexander attempted to strike a conversation but she made sure her face looked uninterested and he seemed to give up. The unusual thing is, Alexander hadn't left the unit to go out with friends or even drink. Amity wished he would just leave so that she could have some alone time but he didn't. Not even his friends seemed to drop by. Amity just continued giving him the cold shoulder.

But even if she's blocking him, Alexander still made gestures that would make her notice him. He would make them breakfast, lunch and dinner and he'd been the one who does the cleaning. She would wake up realizing the whole place was cleaned. Even so, Amity still kept her distance from him, she told herself she won't be easily swooned.

It was a Thursday afternoon when Amity decided to meet up with Therese. They planned to go shopping for a formal dress to wear for the event on Friday. Her wardrobe was hopeless, the only clothes she owns were pants, skirts, and shorts and shirts. She's not a fan of girly clothes so she's in need to buy one for now. Amity took a shower and put on a black sleeveless top with a skull print, a denim skimpy short and her high cut black boots. She tied her long hair in a bun and put on her eyeliner. She picked up her satchel and headed towards the door of the condominium unit. She found Alexander sitting on the couch in the living room watching TV, he looked at her questioningly. Amity didn't mind him and went for the door, Alexander stood up and followed her.

"Uhm, where are you going?" He asked. His voice sounded a little calmer than usual.

Amity stopped before she could turn the knob and turned her attention back towards him. She saw Alexander standing with his hands in his pockets staring at her then on the floor and vice versa. He seem to cannot look at her directly in the eye.

"Why is it that you have to ask where am I going?" Amity asked him coldly. Alexander looked at her then, shocked that for the first time after several days she'd spoken a word to him.

"I.. I just thought I should ask.." He tried to smile.

"You don't have to be polite now. It won't matter to me anymore." Amity told him. "Besides, if you're scared that I might leave again, well, I tell you, it's not going to happen. Simon took me in, it is he who could cast me out from this place." She added. "And for the record? It's none of your business whatever I do. I'll go out if I want to go out. It doesn't concern you. So try not to ask next time."

Alexander, head bent downward looking on the floor mumbled, "Okay.. I'm sorry.."

Amity threw him a look of disgust and went out of the door. She breathed a gust of air once she was out.

Alexander walked back to the living room, shoulders slumped, and sat down on the couch. He looked dreary and hopeless, there's nothing he could do to win Jordin's trust and forgiveness, and he blames himself for it.

He's totally pissed that he'd been such an asshole. He's mad at the world for a couple of things that's why he'd been acting like a jerk, but this is the only time he did make another person feel very dismal because of his hatred with just about anything. He has to do something with it.

He remembered her telling him that he's a selfish, insensitive, and an inconsiderate person. It really did hurt him when he heard all of it. Alexander knew he wasn't what Jordin had thought of him and that he was clearly the opposite of it all. Not until all the miserable things he thought he would never experience and would happen to him actually took place. He wanted to forget and so he made a defense mechanism of being just rude in front of anyone he would have contact with, unfortunately, Jordin was one of them. And now, he doesn't know how could he undone the pernicious things he had done and said to her.

Alexander looked helpless and felt that he really needed someone to talk to. He picked up his phone from the living room's center table and called Uno. He told him he'll drop by his place and that they have to talk. The latter agreed and he took off.

He saw Uno in the garage fixing his car when he arrived. Alexander took a stool and sat on it as his best friend continued to dismantle things underneath his convertible.

"What brings you here? I haven't heard from you for days." Uno asked him.

Alexander rubbed the back of his neck, "Been trying to woo her for the past two days, but failed." He gave out a heavy sigh, "She's really mad at me. I dunno what to do."

"Well, if I were in her shoes I'll not just hate you. I'll even curse you. Over and over again until you wilt and then die." Uno told him, "She said you took away two important things from her. Well it really was important since you had repulsed her."

"I know.. I know.. God man, you always make me more miserable even if I already am." Alexander told Uno in annoyance.

"It's your fault, you did it to yourself. I've always warned you. But, you didn't listen to anything I've said so, I have nothing to say anymore, except that it serves you right."

Alexander felt more awful and it hurt him a bit that his best friend wasn't even on his side, doesn't even listen to him and even reprimanded him as usual. "Ayt, thanks anyway. I just wanted someone to talk to. I guess you're busy. I'll leave now." He told his friend stiffly and stood up. He was about to walk through the gate when Uno called him.

"Yo Xander, I think I could help you with something to win her over. Come back here and we'll talk it over a bottle of beer."

Alexander smiled and turned to see his friend holding two beer bottles and is smiling at him. Uno threw a bottle at him and he caught it with one hand. Alexander walked back to his stool and both of them talked about something that made his face looked interested and afterwards, it lit up.

Amity and Therese had finished their shopping an hour ago, they're still in the mall and is now having dinner at Army Navy. Amity bought a burrito and her favorite Freedom Fries as well as the Libertea. Therese ordered for a burger with three add-ons, they looked pretty hungry.

"Finding nice clothes could really be exhausting!" Therese rolled her eyes and took a bite out of her burger.

Amity nodded swallowing a chunk of her burrito, "That's so right."

"But hey, I really love the dress you picked. It matches your eyes.. And it compliments you're personality. Being a rock chic that is." Therese giggled.

"Yours looks good as well, being the preppy chic you are. Blue is really your color, and I bet Mikael will be swooned once he sees you wearing that dress." Amity winked at her friend and the latter blushed a little.

"So, you're still planning to have that haircut?" Therese asked her.

"Mmm hmm.." Amity mumbled in between bites, "After we finished eating."

"Okay. I'll have my nails done as well while waiting for you." Therese told her.

"Agreed." Amity answered. They continued eating and afterwards, went to a salon for a make over.
