Simon stayed in the condo unit the whole day of that Saturday and Amity couldn't help not to wonder. He did the usual hanging out with her and the both of them had a few talks. She noticed that he even had moments wherein he talked with his brother and threw at him a few jokes as they sat in the living while they watch a show. It made her feel happy but somehow she couldn't help not to be puzzled. Something's up with him and she kept on thinking what could it be. Suddenly everything came back to normal add up the sight that he even had some bonding time with Alexander as well.
Amity wanted to ask if he would go out again and go over Mia's place, she even wanted to ask how are things between the both of them but she decided not to. The thought of bringing her up to Simon might made him remember that he has to go out and went straight to her leaving Alexander and her alone again. She missed Simon and it's a good scenario that right now, he's here with them.
Amity didn't knew but Alexander was also a bit surprised as well but just kept it to himself. He was shocked when Simon discuss something with him, laugh with him and joked with him. It was all too sudden. At the back of his mind he is puzzled, and he knew his brother very well that there is something behind Simon's change of aura. Alexander just tried to enjoy the moment the three of them are having right now but a little bit cautious somehow. He hoped that everything is just normal.
Supper came and Alexander had just finished cooking a sumptuous meal of Korean dishes such as Bibimbop and Kimchi Pancakes. The aroma of the food from filled the air and wafted on Amity and Simon's noses up into the living room.
"Hey Xander that smells good. Is it ready yet?" Simon shouted at him in the kitchen.
"Yep it's done big bro, hurry scurry, it's chow time!" Alexander shouted back.
In a few seconds Simon and Amity was seated on the dinner table, Amity looked astonishingly at the food and smelled it.
"Woah, what's this?" She asked.
"Bibimbop and Kimchi Pancakes, Korean food." Alexander handed her a spoon. He served each of them their own bowls of Bibimbop.
"Wow, how do you eat this?" Amity looked at the beautifully set veggies and beef around the sides of the rice which is in the middle and an egg on top of it.
"Well, you have to mix everything up. As in mix everything." He answered.
"Mixed it? I don't think I want to! It's beautiful.." Amity looked a bit frustrated.
"You have to. Or aren't you hungry?" He joked. "I'll have your share."
"No way!" Amity covered her bowl with her hands. Simon laughed at them.
"You guys look like kids you know that?" He told them. "Where did you learn how to cook this?" Simon asked him.
"I watched it on YouTube. I also watched how Koreans eat this stuff." Alexander answered and started to mix his food. Amity looked hesitant at first but she did so, slowly.
"I guess you're already preparing yourself for Korea huh?" She absent mindedly asked as she continued to mix her food. Then she realized she just uttered something that shouldn't be talked about and she straightened up and gazed at Alexander who also went still and gave her the look. Amity glanced at Simon who creased his eyebrows.
"Preparing for Korea?" He asked.
Alexander tried to utter something but Amity noticed he would stutter and it would give him away so she butted in.
"Well, I guess you know, if he plans on having a tour in that country at least he knows something. That's what I mean." She told Simon and nodded at Alexander. "Right Xander?"
