A smile slowly formed in Amity's lips as soon as she heard the pilot announce that they would be landing soon. She looked outside the window and saw vast green fields and afterwards tall buildings. They're already in the city and nearing the airport making her heart began to hammer wildly. It's been three years since she'd been gone. She missed a lot of important people in her life; her family, her friends, and most especially, the man that she love.

"Xander.." She whispered. "I can't wait to see you.." She hugged the unicorn stuff toy he gave her tight. It's the only thing she kept that reminded her of him since she moved to Paris to study fine arts. She took the scholarship offered by Elise Veracruz along with her friends, Therese and Mikael. After finishing the program the two decided to go back and continue their career in their own country. Amity on the other hand, was given an opportunity to work with Elise and stayed for another two years in Paris. She made a name and was known as Elise's successful protégé; working alongside other prominent painters as well. Elise still has some projects for her but she decided to go back. Alexander would be graduating this month and she has to be there to see it.

It was her father's request for her to continue her dreams and to make sure that Alexander would be able to help her handle their family's businesses in the near future. The night Henry talked to them he laid out his terms. The two of them couldn't believe it at first and it wasn't what they expected. But Henry doesn't want to lose her and he wanted to see if he could trust Alexander to be responsible and to be able to take good care of her for the years to come. It made her extremely happy knowing that Henry finally let her follow her heart's desire, but the struggle of not seeing Alexander for quite a long time affected her as much. They constantly communicated with each other but still, she longed to see his face and feel the warmth of his touch. She's happy now that she's finally back and that she will see him again. She couldn't wait for the moment to come that the two of them would be finally holding each others arms. Never a day goes by that she hasn't think of him. Never a day goes by that she didn't miss him.

A few minutes later the plane neared the tarmac and it slowly descended. She's finally home.

She immediately saw Vladimir waiting outside the airport's lobby and in an instant she ran to him and hugged him tight, the latter froze in surprise as an initial reaction but later on hugged her the same. She never thought she would also miss this stout, veracious man. He's somewhat like her father; still, she knew that Vladimir loves her too in his own way.

Vladimir patted her on the back. "Welcome back, young miss."

Amity pulled away and gave him a smile. "It's nice to see you too, Vladimir." Vladimir bowed his head and took her luggage. He opened the car door for her but instead of sitting at the back of the driver's seat Amity sat in front.

"Young miss, you shouldn't-"

"C'mon, Vladimir. I want to go home." Amity cut him off and grinned. Vladimir sighed and went towards the driver's seat.

"You should rest for a while, young miss. It's still a long ride home." Vladimir told her.

"Nah. You think I can sleep when I'm this excited?" She smirked. "How's everyone?"

Vladimir shrugged. "They're doing well, your parents. Master Henry is quite busy but he's in good health as well as Madame Elenor. They miss you a lot young miss." Vladimir smiled at her.

"Uh... And... What about... Fred, and Heidi and.."

"Sir Alexander?" Vladimir raised an eyebrow.

"Mm hmm..." Amity bit her lip.

"He's fine." Vladimir answered casually. "He frequently visits the Master and Madame. I must say Master Henry already has a liking to your boyfriend."
