"KRISTINA RALEIGH DANIELS! " Her mom, Gloria shouts as she gets of the car.
"Mom I can explain-" Kristina says.
"Explain what? How I call the school about the time the bus would come and they didn't even know what I was talking about?"
"Mom I-"
"Or explain why are you coming out of a car with some random boy that I don't even know!" Gloria yells and her husband, Theodore gets out of the car,
Kristina's heart races with fear now, "Why did you tell him?" she asks her mom. He is going to kill me. The tears sting her eyes.
"He's your father, he has every right to know when you are out of line."
Kristina looks at her father's face, He's going to kill me, "Mom, you didn't have to tell him." Kristina starts to cry. He's going to kill me.
"I bet she didn't even go to a Ceremony. There's probably no National Honor's Society." her dad Theodore interjects.
"She did go to the National Honor's Society." Ian says to Theodore as Sarah gets out of the car.
"I don't think I was talking to you so I suggest you shut the hell up and mind your damn business boy!" Theodore responds as Ian fumes with anger.
"Can I just explain myself." Kristina says trying not to cry.
"Explain how you lied to me after I instilled so much trust in you?" Gloria yells.
"Mom just hear me out!"
"There's nothing for us to discuss!"
"Hey, excuse me Mrs. Daniels but Kristina was honest with you the whole time. She just wasn't honest about who she went with. I have pictures of the whole event to prove it." Sarah interjects.
"I don't recall anyone asking you anything." Theodore asks Sarah. "You have hood rat friends now?" he asks his daughter.
"You're not talking about me. I am not the one." Sarah says as she walks towards the car of Kristina's parents.
"Am I supposed to be that my daughter was with someone like you?" Theodore says to Sarah.
"Guys please." Kristina says trying to calm the situation down.
"And who is someone like her?" Ian says to Theodore, stepping towards him.
"The fact is that she lied to me. Period!" Gloria shouts.
"You know how teenagers are, they lie to their parents, sneak out with friends to smoke, drink and have sex." Theodore says.
