" Emma !"

Charlie had seen many horrific scenes in his life, but none measured up to hearing his daughter was almost crushed by a van. At the mention of her name, Emma turned and looked over seeing her father walk in. A ambulance rushed both Tyler and Emma to a near by hospital. Bella never left her sisters side and it annoyed her a bit. Emma was a bit hazy since the accident and she couldn't wrap around what had happened." Are you okay ?"

" Yes."

Charlie saw Tyler getting his head stitched and glared at the boy." You and I are gonna talk. You alright ?

" I'm fine dad, calm down." Emma pleaded, but knew how worried Charlie must have been seeing the nurse clean the wound on her head." It really was an accident and plus, I'm perfectly fine"

Tyler nodded his head." I'm sorry Emma, I tried to stop."

" I know, it's okay."

" Em, you could have been killed by him." Bella snapped which added to Charlie's anger. She could sense it and see the anger in his face. She understood why, but he didn't have to be upset. She was alive and very well.

" No, it sure as hell it's not okay."

Emma shook her head." Dad, it wasn't his fault. It was an accident. Some Ice and panic."

" You could've been killed. You understand that ?"

" Yes, but I wasn't." Emma pointed out seeing the nurse was done cleaning the wound and placed a big bandage over it.

" You can kiss your license goodbye." Charlie said making Tyler groan in both fear and disappointment. Emma felt bad and shook her head to Tyler wanting to calm his nerves down a bit.

" I heard the Chief's daughter was in." A man announced walking through the double doors with a bright smile. Emma turned feeling as if the man was very familiar.

" Oh, Dr.Cullen."

" Cullen ?" Emma questioned looking to the doctor, who had a friendly smile on hi lips.

"Charlie. I got this one, Jackie. So, Emma."

" Yes." She said with a smile knowing it was Edward's dad. The hot doctor Jessica, Claire, and Angela talked when she met the kids. For an adoptive dad, how come they have the same eyes ?

" Well, looks like it's a quiet spill. How do you feel ?"

" Good. Perfectly fine." Emma stated, but Bella and Charlie has other ideas.

"Look here." He said pointing a flashlight in her eyes." You might experience some post-traumatic stress or disorientation, but your vitals are good."

" So, should I watch her."

" Bella-"

" Like signs that she is hurt or becoming hurt." Bella continued.

" No signs of any head trauma. I think she'll be just fine. Sisters ?"

" Twins." Bella and Emma answered at the same time before looking at each other with a smile.

" I'm so sorry Emma, I'm really-" Tyler was saying, but Charlie pulled the curtain making her playfully glare at him.

" It would have been a lot worse."

" Yeah, almost like someone was there to save me." Emma hinted seeing Dr. Cullen expression harden a bit." Edward's your son right ? He knocked me right out the way."
