𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟔𝐭𝐡, 𝟐𝟎𝟎𝟓Emma was in her room with the laptop wide open showing her half written English paper that was not due for a while. She just decided to get a head start, but that was before she knew what Edward was. She couldn't stop thinking about it. All it did was place a smile on her face. Emma knew it must of been hard for Edward to admit what he was, but he did it and he told her. The only human.
She wouldn't say she was in love. Emma only knew the boy for a short amount of time to consider what she felt was love. What should I call it then ? Crush sounded too childish and I was not that. Feelings. Feelings sounded good. So with the conclusion, she determined that she had feelings for Edward. The door opened, so she looked over seeing it was Bella eating a granola bar.
" Hey, I'm driving today. Don't think I didn't notice you up all last night. I don't need you falling asleep on the wheel."
" Whatever you say, Bells." Emma said shutting my laptop and grabbing a stripped shirt and pulling it over her same color tank top. Bella sat on Emma's bed still eating the bar.
" How's your stomach ?"
" Better. Much better." Emma said and groaned before turning to Bella seeing her calendar." Is there like any chance you got two leafs for the biology thing ?"
" You forgot ?" Bella said and Emma nodded while grabbing her coat.
" I'll be back."
" Be careful." Bella said watching Emma leave out the front door.
She groaned walking to the near by woods near her house. She had to find a leaf for her biology class since the teacher wanted to demonstrate to the class that no leaf is the same. Emma being Emma wanted the perfect leaf. She got a bit deep in the woods before she looked down seeing a nice green, yellow, and brown leaf. That's when she heard something move and gasped. She couldn't tell what it was, but it did freak her out a lot.
She could practically heart her frighten heartbeat in her ears and the sweat build in her palms. It moved again and even hissed from where ever it was. Emma felt on edge. Teenage girls always die in the woods, Emma. Why the hell did you go so far today? Have you seen a scary movie lately when someone leaves their home ? Georgie never got home and neither did so many people. She yelled at herself hearing another hiss. Emma turned when she ran into someone's chest and screamed while falling to the ground ready to fight if she had to.
" Why the hell are you in the woods alone ?" Edward said standing above her.
She glared at him while he helped her up. She huffed before picking her leaf up and stuffing it in her pocket.
" I needed a leaf for a project. Can you not sneak up on someone ? Remember Human, Vampire." She said pointing between him and her.
" Come on, I'm taking you too school, beautiful." Edward said and she was stunned by her nickname, but loved it. They walked back to the house with Edward looking around them while they walked." Emma, you really shouldn't walk around the woods alone anymore. At least if you do, tell me. I'll come with no problem."
" I can help myself thank you very much."
" Believe me, I know you can, but you have to remember, I'm not the most dangerous thing out here. There's others. One's who didn't fall for you." He said seeing how red her cheeks got. She passed it off with a laugh and looked back to him.
" I know. I can still handle myself. Mr. I'm a vampire and I thing I can do everything." She said with a smile before getting to the clearing where her house was.
