Emma
𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟏𝟏𝐭𝐡, 𝟐𝟎𝟎𝟕I stared at the wedding in front of me...or at least the preparations. Today was June 11th, the day before Edward and I would get married. Alice had agreed to my greenery wedding and so far from what I could tell, everything was going to be magical. We had chosen the wedding to be Dusty blue and Burgundy giving a bit of the June feeling to it all.
I couldn't believe the day was here. After so much planning and following Alice's orders for so long, I thought it would never come. Edward and I were going to stand in front of everyone and get married. I think the only part I was loathing was kissing in front of my parents
" You just have to break them in." Alice spoke and I turned to see Bella struggling to learn how to walk in her heels. For the past three months, she had been wearing her shoes and walking in it, but to no degree was she able to actually walk in them given her clumsy footing.
" l've been breaking them in. For three months." She complained looking to me next begging with her eyes already." Can l just go barefoot ?"
" No, absolutely not !" Alice gasped.
I laughed at my sister-in-law's tone moving closer to the two women," Alice, maybe she should just let her wear sneakers." I argued, but Alice rolled her eyes giving me a stern look.
" No, the wedding is elegant."
" Just thinking it's a little much, you know? The dress and the shoes, and all of this." I trailed off turning to see Esme was setting the tables with a combination of dusty blue and burgundy flowers while Jasper and Carlisle passed by holding the benches were people would be sitting.
" No, it's exactly enough. Tomorrow will be perfect !" Alice cheered already bouncing with joy.
" Where do you want them, boss?" Emmett asked and my eyes widen at the huge log he had to carry and the fact that it was decoration for the wedding. Only Alice. I swear.
" On either side of the aisle."
" What aisle ?" Rosalie asked next coming in with a smaller log.
" Does no one have vision?" Alice groaned walking down the stairs to help the two on where they should placed the logs.
Bella laughed and quickly took off her shoes seeing Alice was busy to scold her on more practice. I smiled studying how beautiful she had gotten in a year. After having a baby, she was glowing with long, dark hair and I could sense the happiness it brought her. My eyes went to her hand and I smiled seeing her own engagement ring since next year, she was going to marry Jacob.
" Maybe I should plan your wedding." I teased, but Bella's head snapped up and she nodded vigorously.
" Maybe so, but she is going to make this wedding amazing." Bella spoke placing her heels to the side and standing by me to see all the work being put into place." Nervous ?"
" I'm not sure." I admitted chuckling at my own emotions." It's like I wanna get in my wedding dress now, but I'm also afraid to fall."
" Knowing you, you would fall." I heard and turned to see Jacob come through the living room with the baby in his arms fresh from a nap.
" Not helping Wolf boy. Now let me see my nephew." I said smiling at my six month old nephew with the cutest curly hair ever given to a baby." Hi Leo."
Leo noticed it was me and started to laugh holding his arms out to me. I took him into my arms and smiled never getting enough of just how damn cute he was. No wonder people wanted to pinch baby's cheeks.
