Chapter Twenty nine: You're Here

Third person pov
𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟏𝟒𝐭𝐡, 𝟐𝟎𝟎𝟔

Emma didn't know how, but she was back in Italy with the volturi. She heard their screams of terror while they were eaten and turned around this time not being held. The men, women, and children were all killed with blood surrounding them. Emma turned to both sides seeing Alice and Edward were gone. When she looked back up, the dead men, women, and children were vampire and looking at her still screaming before they died.

" Come join us, Emma. Come join us, Emma."

" No. Stop !"

" Come join us Emma. Come join us Emma ! Come join us Emma !"

" No ! No, please ! "

" Join us Emma ! Join us Emma !"

" Please !"

" No ! Please !" Emma said in her sleep when a hand slowly came over and touched her arm. She freaked out swatting the hand away, but stopped when she felt how cold it was. She looked up following the hand to see Edward there worried." You scared the shit out of me."

" You can sleep. I'll still be here when you wake up." Edward said, but by Emma's face, he could see she was still upset and didn't believe him." Emma, the only reason that I left was because I thought I was protecting you. I needed you to have a chance at a normal, happy life."

" I can't tell. It was so easy for you to leave." She said taking the covers off of her and sitting up. She had sweat on her forehead and groaned wiping it away." You left like I was nothing, but a piece of paper. I thought I mean't more then that. I would have never in a million years done that to you, but you did it to me."

" Leaving you was the hardest thing I've done in a 100 years. I swear, I will never fail you again. I'm so sorry. Charlie's coming."

" Hey !" Charlie said coming into the room. Emma looked to see Edward was gone and smiled over to her father." You okay ?"

" Yeah, I had a small nightmare. Nothing to worry about."

" How was the sleepover ?" Charlie asked and Emma nodded. Bella lied to their father saying that Emma and her got in a fight and Emma went to sleep at Claire's because she was so mad when in reality Emma was in Italy. Claire didn't mind when Bella said Emma needed a back story and went with it calling Charlie to say how Emma was having a great time.

" It's was great. Her mom makes great pizza. It was almost like I was in Italy."

" Okay. I have to go to the office. Don't leave the house."

" You got it dad." Emma said seeing Charlie nodded his head before leaving. Edward came behind the door and smiled over to her.

" I'm not technically breaking any of his rules. He did say, I couldn't take a step inside through the door. I came in through the window. He's not going to forgive me easily."

" He'll come around. He just...He didn't like how you left so sudden."

" I know. Can you ? I hope you can because I honestly don't know how to live without you. I tried and look where I got us. Emma, I choose you forever. I know that now. " Edward said looking down before taking her hand." Your ring. You never took it off."

" No, a part of me knew you would never break your promise." Emma said, but looked back up to him with sorrow in her eyes." But I can't forgive you."

" What ?"

" Edward, you left me. You left me so sudden and so fast, it broke me. Even when I told you how much I want to be with you...you still left. Don't expect me to forgive you so sudden. You have to give me some time. Everything that happened over these months are too hard to process. I need some time to myself to think. I just need a small break." She smiled." Don't worry. I'll come back to you some day. Right now I want to punch you and break your jaw."

" And i'll always be here waiting for that to happen." Edward said with a smile, but even Emma could see it was tinted with sadness." Always."

𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟏𝟔𝐭𝐡, 𝟐𝟎𝟎𝟔

" The sky is cloudy, the temperature is nice, but there's one thing wrong." Bella said closing the car door and looking over to the Cullen's standing by there car talking." You're not with him. Everything okay ?"

" Yeah, why ?"

" Again, you're not with him and he's here...actually here." Bella said which made Emma smile.

" We're still broken up."

Bella gasped loudly." What ?! Why ?! I thought he was your everything. I mean...you flew to Italy just to save him."

" Yeah, but he still left me and I'm still highly upset that he did." Emma explained seeing Edward looked to her and smiled when she walked in. He was leaning against his car with his family and she knew for sure he was hearing everything she was saying to Bella." But don't worry. I still love him with all my heart and know we'll be back too it soon."

" Wow." Bella laughed." Your one hard ass. I hate to get on your bad side."

" Emma !" Someone shouted causing the girls to stop. They turned seeing at the bottom of the stairs was Jacob.

" Hey, what are you doing here ?"

" I had to make sure you were okay." Jacob explained." You're my best friend and when everything happened I was so worried about you. Bella said you were back home and safe, but I had to make sure."

" Thanks Jake, but I'm okay." Emma said when she saw right behind Jacob, the Cullen's were glaring." You should go. I don't know how teenagers would feel if a vampire, werewolf brawl happened in the middle of the parking lot."

" You got it." Jacob laughed before leaving. Edward was still glaring, but looked to Emma seeing she crossed her arms over her chest from far.

" He's a friend. My best friend." Emma said knowing from the distance Edward would hear. He nodded with a smile and she nodded back hearing the warning bell go off. Walking back up the stairs, she saw Bella smiling.

" Well, eighteen is one crazy year isn't it ?" Bella joked.

" We have ten more months of being eighteen too. What could happen ?"

Hey guys so i'm not dead. Actually what happened was someone logged into this account and blocked me out and I was so scared they were going to take over this account, but they actually did nothing, but delete a private story I had which held a lot of future books I wanted to do and even deleted a story I wanted to release, but all is well now and my account is now mine again. Sad the story I was going to released is now deleted, but maybe it was mean't to never be seen. Anyway for updates, it might be a little hard cause school is being a little bitch, but I will try my best and update whenever I have off or hopefully soon snow days. Love you all and while I'm here thank you for 40k on the story ! It means so much to me. Again love you all !
