Chapter Sixty Three: Moving?

Emma's pov
𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟒𝐭𝐡, 𝟐𝟎𝟎𝟕

I walked hand and hand with Edward towards the Cullen's house, a bright smile on both our faces. I didn't feel an ounce of tiredness despite having sex all night and hunting for some hours. It felt weird. I was waiting for the tiredness to set in, but nothing. It felt amazing. Edward smiled to me holding the door open for me and I smiled back at him walking inside when he slapped my ass causing me to yelp loudly.

" That actually hurt!" I scolded playfully narrowing my eyes at him, but he only laughed.

Turning away from him, my ears narrowed in on the sounds in the house hearing two heartbeats in the dining room. I frowned, however, hearing them to be more stronger and I knew it couldn't be Serenity or Hope's. I followed the noise coming in to see the two heartbeats were Jacob and Seth. Jacob sat next to Bella eating a sandwich looking over her shoulder while she was on the laptop and Seth leaded against the wall on his phone and glancing out the window every now and then.

" Wow." Emmett spoke looking away from his newspaper." Done already?"

I rolled my eyes at his antics," Where's Serenity and Hope ?"

" Blondie stole them." Seth answered glancing out the window again.

I turned seeing outside, Rosalie was sitting on the ground with the twins in her lap while Leo sat next to her. All four of them were laughing while Leo showed the girls a flower and little Hope was trying her best to grab it, but couldn't reach. I smiled at the sight seeing Rosalie so happy. They might of not been her's, but she was living something she always wanted.

" Break a lot of stuff?" Emmett called out breaking me from my thoughts.

My head snapped over to my brother-in-law seeing the smirk on his face and I let out a fake laugh before giving him the middle finger...even though he wasn't wrong. The phone rang loudly causing everyone to stiffen up. I frowned at the reaction turning to Edward only to see him stare at the phone with sorrow.

" Is that Charlie, again?" Bella questioned.

I frowned," Charlie?"

" He's been calling twice a day." Jacob answered turning to Bella by his side, before back to me." He's in pretty rough shape."

" Eventually, we'll have to tell him you didn't make it." Carlisle suggested, but I shook my head defensively.

" But Bella and I can control myself."

My sister nodded her head," She's right."

" He needs to mourn, girls." Carlisle explained." You have control now, but what if you act out or something happens."

I looked up to the vampires around me seeing the sadness on their faces. How could I argue with them? They've been immortal far longer than I have. They knew better. I couldn't help the pit in my stomach. I thought I would have far more time with my Dad. I didn't want my wedding to be the last time I saw him.

" Okay. We'll do it tomorrow." I said when I felt Edward squeeze my shoulder.

Emmett sighed," I'm gonna miss this place."

" We'll come back. We always do."

" Wait." Seth called out." Nobody said anything about leaving."

" Once people believe Bella, Jacob, Emma, Edward, and Leo to be dead, we can't risk anyone seeing them." Carlisle explained, but it still wasn't good enough.

" So you just disappear?"

" Seth, we don't have another choice." Edward explained and I couldn't take it passing by everyone and heading outside to see Rosalie and the kids.
