Chapter Twenty Five: Bella Don't

Third person pov
𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟯𝗿𝗱, 𝟮𝟬𝟬𝟲

Emma woke up and smiled seeing she didn't get a nightmare that night. She climbed out of her bed and got dressed to hang out with Bella today. Emma was pretty sure, she would still have lots of questions about Jacob and even about him. She walked down the stairs going to the kitchen to make a small breakfast.

" Bella ! Wanna go to the cafe with me ?" She said grabbing a cup and some orange juice." Bella, are you still sle-"

Emma turned to the kitchen table seeing a note taped to the table. She placed her cup down, licking her lips from the taste and picked up the note.

Dear Emma,

Werewolves, vampire. This is all crazy. I stood up all night thinking about it when it occurred to me. You and Jacob make all these risky decisions everyday and here I am the human. I want to take a risk once in my life. You were right. There is no way I would cliff dive, but that's what I'm going to do. I have to. I'm tired of not taking an risk and being seen as weak.

" Oh no. Bella !" Emma yelled and quickly ran outside seeing the orange pick-up truck was gone.

She groaned turning around to see she had to use the bike once again. It's engine roared loudly while she road down the same path she did when they were going to test the bikes out. She got to the wood seeing Bella parked the truck near it and hopped off the bike.

" Bella ! Bella !"

Emma ran climbing over fallen tree branches and ran across rocks and roots. She knew she had two options. Either, she was going to be too late, or she was going to save her sister in time. That thought made her run faster. She didn't care about the burning in her legs or the cuts on her fingers from pushing pass sticks and some stones.

" Bella stop !" Emma yelled catching Bella at the end of the cliff. She was shocked and turned around seeing Emma's face.

" Emma-"

" Don't do it. What the hell were you thinking ?!"

" I wanna take a risk. Let me take it." Bella said about to turn and go more towards the edge.

" Bella, your risk is to die !"

" Jake and his friends do it !"

" Jake and his friends are werewolves ! That' why they jump and make it out alive !" Emma yelled seeing the recognition spread on her face.

Bella looked down to the cliff before nodding her head." I didn't think about that."

" I can see that." Emma said now smiling and nodded her head." Come on, let' go home."

" Okay." Bella said, but when she took a step, the small rock under her gave way." Emma !"

" Bella !" Emma screamed catching Bella's hand, but the two sisters went plummeting down towards the ocean below screaming their heads off. When they landed in the water, all they could feel was how cold the water was. They swam back to the top and started to laugh.

" We did it !"

" That's was a rush !" Emma laughed and turned, but the smile was wiped off her face when she saw a big wave coming towards them very harshly." Bella duc-"

Emma didn't have enough time before the wave came and knocked them into the water more. Emma held her breath, but when another wave under water knocked her around, she lost it and felt her body start to swallow water. She opened her eyes and she saw the hint of red. Victoria. Emma started to freak out frailing her arms around. That's when she felt pain in her head and everything turn black. She couldn't open her eyes, but her body was cold and light as air.

Her lungs burn, but the feeling of cold reminded her of him. His cold skin holding her tightly in his arms. His perfect cold lips molding with hers. Just the image of him made her upset only because she could no longer remember what he looked like. It had been too long and all the memories were nothing, but her with someone blurry. Maybe he was a dream ? Maybe i'm crazy ? Maybe I made him up ? I never missed someone so much, but I miss him. I just hate the fact that he left me and like this. Yearning for a single touch.

" Emma." A voice asked and she couldn't place her mind on it. It was dim and seemed like it was coming from somewhere very far. Slowly, the numbness in her body turned warm and something was pressing on her chest before moving her cold lips." Please. Breathe ! Breathe !"

" Come on, Emma. Breathe." Bella said when Emma opened her eye seeing Jacob and Bella there looking at her worried. She went to talk when nothing, but water came up, so she leaned on her side coughing it all up." Emma ? Oh my god ! Can you breathe ?"

" Emma, can you hear me ?"

" Jacob ?" She answered looking at them before sitting up and looking to the ocean in front of her. Jacob looked to Bella a bit pissed.

" What the hell were you thinking, huh ?"

" I just wanted to take a risk."

" A risk ? Bella you risked your life and not only that, but Emma's. Do you realize how dangerous it is ?"

" Take her home." They heard and turned to see Sam." I'm gonna go help over at Harry's place."

" What happened at Harry's ?"

" Harry Clearwater had a heart attack. Charlie and my Dad are at Harry's place with his family."

" Is he okay ?" Emma asked seeing Jacob look down.

"  He's gone. Come on, I'll give you something to dry and drive you guys home."

" We can drive ourselves."

" After what just happened, I'm keeping an eye on you." Jacob said looking to Bella worried.

Emma got up while Jacob and Bella walked and turned to the ocean. Somewhere out there was Victoria waiting for her and she did not like it.
