Emma's pov

" When we were five, they asked us what we wanted to be when we grew up." Jessica said while standing in front of everyone giving her speech.
I couldn't believe today was the day. I looked at the decoration surrounding venue seeing class of 2006 all over. Today was the day I, Emma Swan, was graduating High School. I smiled in my seat holding Edward's hand and enjoying this moment. I knew for the sake of the Cullen's, I would have to do this over and over again, but I also knew none of those times were going to be like the first time.
" Our answers were things like astronaut, president or in my case, a princess. When we were ten, they asked again, and we answered, rock star, cowboy, or in my case, a gold medalist, but now that we've grown up, they want a serious answer. Well, how about this...who the hell knows?"
The crowd yelled at that point clapping and agreeing. Jessica smiled and went on with her speech." This isn't the time to make hard and fast decisions, this is the time to make mistakes. Take the wrong train and get stuck somewhere. Fall in love, a lot."
I felt eyes stare at me and looked seeing Edward stare at me before bringing my hand to his lips and giving a small kiss.
" Major in philosophy, because there's no way to make a career out of that. Change your mind, and change it again, because nothing is permanent. So, make as many mistakes as you can. That way, someday, when they ask what we wanna be we won't have to guess. We'll know."
Everyone clapped loudly while Jessica took her seat allowing the principal to come back on stage." And now I will call each student to receive their diploma."
One by one each student came up to receive there reward. Each parent whistling and smiling brightly. Some mothers crying due to never thinking their child would actually receive one. Watching the kid in front of me go up the stairs, I took a deep breath reminding myself to not fall.
" Emma Swan."
A smile came to my face as I gripped the rail in my hand walking up the stares carefully. The audience was in full aray and I noticed Charlie was the first to dart up from his seat and clap loudly with tears in his eyes. Esme and Carlisle stood up also clapping with the same exact energy. I blushed and laughed before exciting off stage and turned knowing who was next.
" Isabella Swan."
" Yeah Bella!" I yelled watching my pale little sister slowly climb up the stairs.
The tears came up to my eyes instantly. My little sister was growing up on me and we were going to tackle the world together. She quickly grabbed her diploma before rushing off stage and into my waiting arms.
" We did it !"
" Yeah, we did." I cried before looking to Bella's face seeing she was crying too." Come on. Let's go tackle the world."
" Like he always do." Bella said with a smile looping her arm with me and walking back to their seats.
Before I knew it, the last speech was given by our principal before we tossed our hats in the air cheering about the final chapter of high school. Dad was quick to find us, kissing the side of our heads before rushing to the parking lot so we can get to lunch quickly.
" Well, I'm proud of you, girls." Dad cheered with both his arms wrapped around his girls." I can't wait to see what you guys will do next. You both are my biggest accomplishment."
" Dad, I think we cried enough today." I whined causing Charlie to laugh.
" Well it's true." Charlie said before smiling." Watch. You'll see it one day when you watch your kids."
