After I left to my room, all I heard was shouting. Anya continued to defend her while Dad and my brothers continued to agree with me that her story of believing that we were in danger and that she needed to leave to keep us safe. That made absolutely no sense and I cant believe she actually believed we'd fall for that shit. Well besides Anya.
The next morning I woke up to a quite house. I got ready putting on my uniform and walking downstairs. Dad and my brother were again still home and in the kitchen. I felt their eyes on me but I tried to ignore them but they insisted on talking to me.
"Were you up all night? I could hear you moving around?" Michael ask curiously.
"I normally stay up late, usually I don't go to bed until 4:30ish." I say shrugging grabbing a apple from the fridge. I look around the kitchen to see my brother and dad staring at me.
" I have to go I need to go to school." I whisper picking up my bag.
"Do you have work today?" Dad ask curiously.
"Yeah, I won't be home until 5." I say stopping to look at him. He nods his head then lets out a sigh. I shrug my shoulders then head out the house. I'm surprised when I only see Jasper standing in front of my house.
"Where's Verity and Jacob?" I ask curiously.
"They wanted some couple time." He explains shrugging.
"They better not do anything stupid that's going to get them in trouble." I whisper. When you reach the age of 16 and you're aloud to begin dating, this comes with a lot of rules. It doesn't matter where you come from, what your ranking in the pack is, it doesn't matter these rules apply to everyone. When you're 16 and you begin dating someone you must inform the alpha. Once the alpha knows everyone knows. That's when the rules come into affect, no kissing except for a peck on the cheek, no touchy touchy stuff, you can hold hands, if you go on a date you must have someone with you, the guy cant be in the girl's room with her, if he's over her house someone must be present. There are a lot more rules, I just cant think of all of them.
"They know better, I doubt they'll want to risk being punished by not being allowed to see each other." He says shrugging shoving his hands into his pocket.
"Remember last time, they walked around like zombies. Verity always made me come over and hang out with her, but she wouldn't stop complaining about how she missed Jacob." I explain laughing.
"The really funny part is that they were only not aloud to see each other for three days." He adds laughing.
"I hope I never have to deal with that again. I love Verity but when she's not aloud to see Jacob, every other sentence she puts his name in it." I explain letting out a sigh.
"So, how was last night?" he ask after a few minutes of silence.
"It was actually good, finally after all these years I finally told them off. Anya was defending her and yelling at me because I wasn't happy to see her, she actually believed that lame excuse she gave for leaving." I explain shaking my head.
" Do you think you'd ever forgive your brothers or father?" he ask curiously.
"Maybe, even if I do our relationship will never be truly ok." I explain shrugging.
"I live right next door,so don't be afraid to come over and talk to me." He says turning to me smiling reasuringly.
"I'll remember that. Thanks Jasper." I say smiling at him gratefully.
