7 months later/ Symphony’s POV

The warm climate of Phoenix, Arizona was calming. After I left Tennessee I took a greyhound bus here. I lived in neutral territory meaning I didn’t live under the protection of an Alpha, so technically I was rouge. Unlike my gorgeous pup Angela, on May 10th I gave birth to her all by myself. Dark brown hair, big blue eyes, and the cutest dimples. She was my world and I loved her with everything in me.

I managed to avoid Dante, Adrian, and Whizdom for about 2 months. One day while I was out I could tell I was being followed. When I turned around and caught a glimpse of short blonde hair rushing bu. A few days after that I saw both Adrian and Dante standing outside my apartment. They didn’t say mush just warned me no to run. I still see them but they kept their distance…I take that back Dante keeps his distance. Adrian comes by on a daily basis. If it wasn’t for him id probably only get about 30 minutes of sleep. So I’m grateful for him, he watches over Angela while I rest. And because Angela is an Alpha’s pup she develops faster than most. She’s only 3 months old but she can sit up, roll over, and she’s getting better at crawling, she smiles, laughs, and does her baby talk. Her face would light up when shed see Adrian or me.

It was mid-afternoon and I had just woken from my nap. I could hear Angela giggling and I walked out my room to find her on the floor while Adrian was tickling her.

“Evening Symphony how was your nap?” Adrian says looking at me smiling.

“Good, has she eaten yet?” I say taking a seat on the couch.

“Yup, just fed her a few minutes ago?” he says smiling picking her up.

“I feel like I’m forgetting something important today, but I can’t remember.” I say running my fingers through my hair.

“Probably our dinner plans.” He says smiling

“No we have that planned for 6:30 at Romero’s.” I say shaking my head.

“You remembered!” he asks shocked.

“I don’t forget everything.” I say crossing my arms defensively.

“You forget more things, do you have a dentist appointment?” he asks rocking Angela as she begins to fall asleep.

“No, I rescheduled that for Wednesday.” I say looking at him.

“It’s Saturday, its laundry day.” He says laughing.

‘Oh yeah, ugh I don’t want to.” I say throwing my head back. When I don’t get a reply I notice he left the room only to return a few moments later.

“Sorry, I needed to put Angela down. And stop being lazy get it done. You’re running low on food, I’m going to head to the store to pick you up a few things.” He says walking back into the room.

“Ugh, fine.” I mumble standing up walking into Angela’s room grabbing her small laundry bin. I grabbed her clothes then mine; I grabbed my video baby monitor and headed to the apartment’s unit laundry room. I loved the apartment I lived in since the laundry was right across the hall, I just wish my apartment was large enough to have a washer; I could easily dry my clothes on the clothes line on my patio.

Walking back into my apartment I jump back in surprise seeing Dante sitting in my living room.

“Dante! What are you doing here?” I ask shocked.

“I  haven’t seen you in a couple of weeks so I came to visit. Where’s Adrian?” he says nonchalantly.

“He went to the store to get some groceries for me. Angela is taking a nap.” I explain setting my laundry basket down.

“What are you doing tonight?” he asks looking around curiously.

“Adrian made reservation for us to have dinner tonight.” I say shrugging.

“I want you to have lunch with me Monday. I’m leaving Monday night and I won’t be back until next Sunday he says slowly.

“I cant Angela has a doctor’s appointment. Have Adrian take her.” He grumbles crossing his arms.

“I’ll think about it.” I say softly. He stares at me before stalking out the apartment. I never got a warm vibe from Dante in fact part of me was afraid of him.
