Five weeks until wedding

It's April, and it's the month of the wedding. Most things have already been planned, so now I needed to get a dress. I didn’t want to look for dresses while I was still pregnant, so I waited. So now Monica, Delphine, Candace, and I are going wedding dress shopping. I wanted Candace in my wedding so now she's a bridesmaid and will be walking down with Tristan.

"The fact that you look like you didn’t just have a child gives me hope." Delphine states looking at me smiling.

"Pregnancies are different for everyone. I blew up like a house for all five of my pregnancies, and I have nine kids." Candace states shrugging. I turn to her shocked, there's no way she has that many kids.

"Nine, but you're so young. How old were you when you had your first child?" I ask shocked.

"My husband and I ran away together when I was 16 and he was 17. My parents wanted me to stop seeing him, but I was in love then I ended up pregnant. My parents were livid, and forbade me from seeing him but I didn’t listen and we ran away together. My oldest child is nine, I'm 25, and my husband is 26 going on 27. We started our family early." she explains a warm smile then entire time while explaining her story.

"You're only four years older than me." I say staring at her shocked.

"Did you have any twins or triplets?" Delphine ask curiously.

"Yeah, one set of twin boys, and one set of triplet girls. I was 23 when I had my ninth child." she says smiling.

"Enough about children, let’s get Symphony into some dresses." Monica demands, arms full of dresses.

I tried on exactly 15 dresses and none have been the 'the one'.

"You look tired honey." my dress consultant Melody states sympathetically.

"None of the dresses have been 'the one'. I don’t know where else to look. I want strapless, with a little bit of bling but not too much, and I want it to be fitted on top and flare out at the bottom. You'd think that'd be easy to find." I grumble letting out a sigh.

"Do you mind if I try and see if I can find you something?" she ask nervously.

"Go for it." I say smiling. She lets out a soft squeal, then disappears out the door. I didn’t have to wait long before she comes back with an extremely gorgeous dress. It was warm fitted, and then flares out at the feet, there were was a little bit of bling but it, wasn’t overwhelming.

"Melody it's perfect."  I state smiling.

"I think this looks wonderful." she states helping into the dress.

“I really do think this dress is the one." I say smiling down at her.

Walking out everyone lets out a loud gasp.

"Out of all the dresses we've seen, this one is the best." Monica exclaims smiling widely.

"I love it." I say smiling at myself through the mirror.

"It's perfect." Delphine states smiling.

"Then it's settled this is the dress." I say smiling nodding my head.

Arriving home instantly I feel small arms wrap around my legs. Looking down I smile at Angela, my little princess has gotten so big, next month she'll be turning one.

"Mommy, I missed you!" she states smiling up at me.

"I missed you too. Where's your daddy?" I say patting her head.

"In the living room with baby brother and uncle Dalton." she says grabbing my hand and pulling me with her. Adrian is sat in the armchair with Hunter dozing off in his arms. Dalton was laid out on the couch watching TV. Leaning over the couch I peck him on the lips, then walking over to Adrian I lean down and peck him on the cheek. Hunter's eyes pop open, and he begins squirming looking up at me with his large eyes. I lift him from Adrian's chest and kiss the side of his head. Hunter has already turned into a momma's boy; he always wants me to hold him. I love it!

"Did the four of you enjoy your day together?" I ask curiously taking a seat on the opposite couch.

"It was nice. Did you find a dress?" he questions sitting up and turning to me.

"Yup, it took 15 tries; dress 16 was the lucky one." I explain smiling.

"So what do we have left for the wedding?" he ask curiously.

"Nothing, we already have everything planned." I say shrugging.

"Hmm, only five more weeks until we say 'I Do'." he states smiling at me widely.

"April 27th will be our special day." I say smiling.
