Chapter 43

One Month Later

It's been a month since things happened with Whizdom, since then things have somewhat calmed down. I try and visit her often at any chance the pack's Alpha allows me. Every time i do go see her, she seems to be getting better.  But Whizdom isn’t my main concern anymore; my concern is the baby who for some odd reason is still inside of me. It's March 27th; Candace thought he would've been born by now. Adrian has become extremely impatient, he wants his son.

"Cant the doctor give you something to make you have the baby, I mean they said he should’ve been born by now." Adrian grumbles staring at me.

"They want to let him come out on his own time." Dalton states smiling.

"I want my boy..." he grumbles crossing his arms pouting.

March 29th

Today I'm checking into the hospital. The constant belly pain, is telling me that this baby may be making his appearance sometime soon. I had went through the same pain, for a couple days leading up to Angela's birth. Now that I was checked into the hospital Adrian has decided that he will not leave my side;

"Adrian at least go get something to eat. You can’t stay in my chair the entire time." I say letting out a sigh.

"Yes I can, as soon as I leave you'll go into labor. I'm not leaving." he grumbles crossing his arms.

"You're a stubborn man Adrian Caito." I say rolling my eyes.

"You're a gorgeous woman Symphony Black." he says smiling moving to peck me on the cheek.

"What am I going to do with you?" I whisper closing my eyes.

"Rest Symphony, if you want I'll go get something to eat, but I'm coming right back." he states planting a kiss on my forehead.

I had a nice nap, when I woke Adrian, Dalton, Angela, Monica, and Delphine were all in the room.

"Mommy you're awake!" Angela squeals smiling at me. Letting out a yawn I move into a more comfortable position and gesture Angela over. She moves from Dalton's lap and climbs onto the bed with me .

"While you were asleep Candace am in and said the baby should be here within the next 48 hours." Dalton explains smiling. I let out a sigh smiling softly.

7:30pm

The pain has become much more intense, it hurt so bad. Candace gave me some medicine to ease the pain, so it's not as intense. I just really wanted his child to hurry and make his appearance already. I'm becoming as impatient as Adrian.

9:20pm

My water broke. Finally, the baby is coming. Adrian seemed to come down from his eagerness and had a shocked expression on his face. Realization must've hit in that the baby is on his way.

"That's the quietest he's been since we got here." Dalton says laughing.

"You can say that again." I say shaking my head, letting out a groan when I feel another contraction.

"Now they're every seven minutes. How many centimeters dilated did Candace say you were when she came to check on you?" Dalton states moving to my left side.

"About 6," I mumble glancing over at him. Both Adrian and Dalton were going to be here for the labor. Angela had gone home with Monica, she'll go between our home and Monica's until the baby and I return home.

"Little guy should be here soon then." he states smiling.

"I wouldn't be to sure about that." I mumble becoming sleepy.
