Chapter 26

We were now back in Phoenix and going back to our daily routine. While we were gone I allowed Whizdom to come and stay with me for a while until she found a place here. It was nice having Whizdom around, Adrian couldn’t always be around since he had to work so it was nice to have someone help me with Angela and her hyper-ness.

I was attempting to get Angela to stop trying to take her bow out of her head. A few minutes later I hear the door unlock and Adrian walks in with a worried expression on his face.

"My sister is coming to visit. I've been trying to convince her that she doesn't need to come." he explains running his fingers through his hair, which I notice he cut.

"You look sexy with your haircut." I say smiling; Adrian and I have begun dating so he's over even more often. I'm pretty sure he spends more time here than at work or at his own home.

"I think it was cut to short, but did you even listen to what I just said?" he asks plopping down on the couch.

"I didn’t know you and Dante had a sister." I say shocked.

"I have six half sisters. Dante and I are half related. My mother married Dante's father when Dante was 1, they divorced when I was 10. My mom re-married so I now have six sisters." he explains throwing his head back letting out a sigh.

"What happened to Dante's mom?" I ask curiously, moving to sit besides him on the couch, letting Angela rip the bow out her head and play with her toys.

"I don’t know, Dante never liked to talk about her," he explains shrugging.

"I don’t understand, why don’t you want your sister to come visit?" I ask curiously.

"I love all of my sisters; it's just that Delphine can be very...needy. She always seems to have some type a problem, it's never just a visit she needs to have others solve her problems." he explains rubbing his temples.

I sat watching Angela as she was attempting to Crawl, Adrian had his head resting on my lap when there was a knock at the door. Adrian lifts his head from my lap and walks over to the door and opens it slowly. It's just Whizdom, she pushes past Adrian and into the apartment.

"Sorry, I forgot my key. Is it true, is Delphine really coming to visit?" she asks setting her purse down collapsing on the floor next to Angela.

"Yes, and like I told Symphony knowing Delphine she's going to need some type of help." he says and right as he is about to shut the door it slams open slamming into Adrian. A small young woman with light curly brown hair and hazel eyes standing in the doorway. She looks at me and her smile widens.

"You must be Symphony," she states walking over to me holding her hand out which I take gently.

"Delphine, good to see you." Whizdom says smiling widely. Delphine smiles at Whizdom, but when she notices Angela who’s is looking at her curiously her face lights up.

"Adrian said she was adorable, but he didn’t tell me she was the cutest baby ever." she states kneeling down in front of Angela who is still staring at her curiously.

"No "hi big brother, how are you?'" Adrian says shutting the door rubbing his chest.

"Adrian, I’m so happy to see you!" she says standing walking over to him wrapping her arms around him.

"So Delphine, what brings you here? Last time I saw you, you were in London living with Mom and Dad." Adrian states pulling back looking down at her. She smiles at him pulling back with an innocent look.

"Well..." she says nervously.

Delphine explains to us guy problems. She's been seeing this guy Hayden for two years and things are beginning to get serious. A few months ago Hayden unknowingly broke it off, during that time Delphine met Tristan. They began dating then Hayden came back. Delphine broke it off with Tristan so she can think things over. She really didn’t want Adrian's help mainly Whizdom's and I's.

"To begin thins off, did Hayden ever explain why he broke it off with you?" Whizdom ask sitting down in a chair at the dining table.

"No, anytime I tried to ask him he'd change the topic." she says shaking her head.

"I think Tristan is the better choice for you. He's sweet, caring, and doesn’t hide things from you. Yeah you and Hayden were together for two years but he broke things off randomly and the way you describe he sounds like a controlling asshole." I explain shrugging.

"I agree with Symphony, and the fact he came back and just expected you to go back to him is just wrong. He didn’t treat you right." Whizdom explains. Delphine nod her head then looks down at her phone, a look of worry crosses her face.

"Its, Hayden." she states nervously, looking up.

"What does he want?" I asks curiously.

"He just wants to know what I’m going and who I’m with." she states leaning back in her chair.

"Does he do that often? Asking where you are and who you're with?" Whizdom asks leaning forward. I can't help but glance over at Angela and Adrian. He was trying to get her to do something and she obviously wasn’t cooperating.

"Sometimes, most of the time I’d tell him where I was going. He did tend to overreact if he didn’t know who I was with. Tristan never aced that way, yeah sometimes he would ask where I was going but that was just to know where I was if something went wrong." she explains calmly.

"Can I meet this Tristan guys and does he have a brother?" Whizdom asks smiling slyly.

"Yes you can meet him and he has an older brother named Nikolai." she states smiling.

Delphine left saying she needed to go and check into her hotel, Whizdom left for work so it was just Adrian, Angela, and I. It was late so Angela was in bed. I changed into pj's and climbed into bed.

"You know, I have never seen you actually do anything work related. I know you work from home though." he states as I climb into bed.

"I do most of my work over the internet." I explain shrugging.

"Lucky you, most of my work require me to travel." he states shrugging.

"Oh, will Angela and I be able to accompany you on any trips?" I ask excitedly.

"What type of boyfriend would I be if I didn’t spoil the two of you? Most of my rips are in the states but I have a few that require me to travel out of the country," he explains setting his book down.

"Do you have any trips coming up?" I ask curiously.

"No not that I can think of." he says moving to get comfortable. I nod my head and settle down before moving so my back is pressed against his chest. He throws his arms over my waist and let outs a yawn.

"Good night," I whisper sleepily.

"Good night my love." he replies.
