"Plus, it's just a prank...

...what could possibly go wrong?"

I released a loud sigh and smiled at them. The boys were all looking at me, waiting for me to answer. Ugh. Who am I to say no to these adorable men?

"Sure. I'd be glad to help."
I saw Jin breathe a sigh of relief, and the other members were all sitting comfortably in their chairs now that I said yes.

"Okay, great! Thank you! I guess we got the right ARMY to help us. Ah, and please keep this a secret. We'll reveal everything after April Fools, so you don't need to worry about anything. We'll do all the talking." Namjoon reached for my hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze. Of course, I trust these boys. I may not know them personally, but at least I feel safe with them.

"Hyung, let's order some pizza!" Jungkook excitedly told Jin, making him look at me as if I get to decide if he should buy pizza or not.

"Y/N, are you busy tonight? Can you stay here with us since we're already done with our schedule, and we have our short break from work? Just so we can plan everything before April Fools and bond a little so you won't feel uncomfortable the next time we meet."

I shook my head and told him that I'm not really busy, which made Jin smile. Wow, these boys are making me speechless whenever they do something like that.

"So Y/N, tell us something about you."

"Yeah, Noona, we'd love to hear your story."

I bit into my pizza and shared some information about myself—that I'm living alone now since my parents are no longer here and that I work as an assistant chef at a restaurant around Seoul. I also mentioned that I am an only child and that I only have SuMin, who is my best friend and an ARMY too.

"There's nothing much to know about me, really. My life is kinda boring."

"It isn't to me~" Jimin sat beside me and grabbed another slice of pizza.

"Oooohhhh~~" I could hear Hoseok and Jin chuckling on the side, teasing Jimin.

"Ah, so Y/N! About the prank... uh, who do you want to be your boyfriend?" My mouth dropped open after hearing Yoongi's question. Who do I want to be my boyfriend? Why do I get to pick?

"Uh-" I was left speechless again, all 7 of them looking at me with anticipation.

"It's okay, we won't be offended." Namjoon teased, and I shifted uncomfortably in my seat.

"Uh, someone who won't be disgusted to call me their girlfriend... I guess." I saw their eyes widen, except for Taehyung.

"Okay, then I'll do it." Taehyung smiled and stood up, offering me another slice of pizza.

"Ah, thanks." I looked down at the pizza, too embarrassed to look at Taehyung.

"Ya! I was supposed to say that!!!" Jimin was whining again.

"Calm down, kids! Let her choose. Who is it, is it gonna be Taehyung?" Hoseok gave me a reassuring smile that told me whoever I picked was fine.

"Sure. It would be an honor to be Kim Taehyung's girlfriend... as a prank." I smiled at them and popped the last piece of pizza into my mouth.

I felt a lightness in my chest. It was crazy how quickly these guys had made me feel at ease. This wasn't just some random meeting—this felt real. Like a moment I'd never forget. I looked around at all their faces, still in awe of how genuine and kind they all were.

The conversation continued with more teasing and playful laughter as we chatted about the prank, how to execute it, and which members might be the hardest to trick. I lost track of time, getting lost in their easygoing personalities and kind smiles. But as much as I was enjoying the moment, the realization that the night was drawing to a close began to settle in.
