FORTY

"Uh. Y/N. This is my girlfriend, Reese."

Taehyung just introduced her girlfriend to me in front of everybody and I have no idea how to react. The members were all silent for a second and just when I was about to open my mouth to say something, Reese walked her way towards me and gave me a short hug then smiled.

"Hi. You must be Y/N. I've heard a lot about you from Taetae. It's nice to finally meet you." Taehyung was talking to her about me? Why? She beamed at me then walked back to where Taehyung was. Taehyung then kissed Reese's forhead and turned his back away from me and faced the members who are still silent and looking at the three of us. I suddenly feel more uncomfortable now than I was the moment I saw Taehyung, wishing I should've gone home after work instead of going here. I knew this was going to be a bad idea.

"Y/N come and sit, let's continue." Yoongi suddenly called my attention and I nod as I walk back to where I was sitting. Taehyung and Reese watched all of us sitting together in a circle.

"Wait! OMG are you playing Truth or Dare?"

"I think it's pretty obvious seeing there's a bottle in the middle." Yoongi spoke without even looking at Reese, making me look at him and then at the other members. I feel tension building in the room but then I saw Jin trying yo hold back his laugh. Was that supposed to be funny?

"Sounds fun!! Taetae and I wants to join. You don't mind, do you?" I was surprised by Reese's sudden reaction. My insides are starting to panic just thinking about her joining us in the game, for sure it's going to be more awkward but who am I to say no? I was about to say 'sure' when Jimin suddenly spoke.

"Actually, we do. And also, we've been playing for hours now so we're done playing. If you want, you and your Taetae can play together instead since both of you like to 'play games'. I'm pretty sure you'll both enjoy." Jimin stood up and walked closer to me and extended his hand. I looked up at him and he nods, making me understand that he's asking me to grab his hand so I can get up so that's exactly what I did.

"Here, maybe you can also hit Taehyung hyung with that so he can go back to his senses." The other members stood up as well and Jungkook grabbed the bottle and handed it over to Reese.

"Ya, Jungkook-ah youㅡ" Taehyung is now sending Jungkook a death glare but Reese suddenly held his face on her hands and made him look at her.

"No, baby. It's fine. They must be all tired and sleepy. It's pretty late now. Let's just join them next time." Reese's voice is sweetㅡtoo sweetㅡas she spoke to Taehyung. Taehyung nods and kissed her in front of us. Reese suddenly wraps her arms around Taehyung's neck and deepened the kiss making us look away. Too much PDA. But then again, I feel a slight pang in my heart seeing Taehyung with Reese. I unconsciously looked down on my fingers and started fidgeting them.

"Noona. Let's go to my room and play overwatch. I'll teach you how." Jungkook suddenly spoke in a louder and more enthusiastic voice, maybe so Taehyung and Reese would realize we're still here. I smiled back at Jungkook and he flashed his bunny smile at me making me feel more relaxed now.

"Ah no, Kookie. Just do it tomorrow. It's late now, Y/N must be tired. Let's all sleep now." Jimin walked towards me and grabbed me on my waist, making me look back on him.

"You can sleep on my bed. Hoseokie hyung and I will just share on his bed instead." Jimin smiled and I nod as we all walk towards the rooms, leaving Taehyung and Reese in the living room.

"Goodnight, guys. Sleep well!" Reese shouted as all the members walk towards their room but bo one looked back so I did and nod then entered Jimin's room. I don't know why, but she sounds too nice. Maybe because she's trying to get the members approval? I don't know. Ugh, Y/N stop thinking about it too much.

"Goodnight, Y/N. Don't think about it too much. I know it's a shock to see Taehyung with her, we were as surpsrised as you are but I'm proud of you for being so casual to them. You're a really strong girl. Sorry I had to stop the game and told them we've been playing for a while now when we've only just started. I just figured you'll feel uncomfortable if they join us." Jimin tucked me in bed like I'm a little girl who's being asked to sleep early by her daddy.

"Thank you, Jimin. You're really my life saver. I owe you a lot." Jimin kissed my forehead and went to sleep beside Hoseok who's now sleeping peacefully on his bed. I closed ny eyes and doze off after Jimin turned off the light.

"Good morning, everyone! Have a sit. I made breakfast." Reese was already in the kitchen when we arrived at the dining area. Jin doesn't look impressed but didn't say a word and sat down, making all of us sit without saying anything.

Of all the places in the dining table, Reese and Taehyung had to sit across me, making me feel too uncomfortable as we eat. I mean, how csn you eat peacefully when these lovebirds just can't take their hands off each other for even just a minute. Reese kept clinging on Taehyung and asking him to feed her. Last night I convinced myself that she's a really nice girl but seeing her like this, I'm thinking she's doing this on purpose and I had the urge to roll my eyes at them but I don't want to start and arguement. I mean it still hurts seeing Taehyung with her but this girl is too much.

After eating, I volunteered to clean up the plates so the other members can clean up the mess we made last night when we were playing.

"Oh, I'll help Y/N clean up since I was the one who cooked breakfast. It would be embarrassing to make her clean up the mess I made." Reese suddenly stood up and grabbed the plates from the table. Jin nods and stood up, the members doing the same, and started cleaning up the living room.

"So you and Taehyung pretended to be dating for April Fools?" I was taken a back when I realized that Reese started talking to me as we wash the plates.

"Uh, yeah. It was Jungkook's idea and they convinced me to say yes to the prank."

"I see. But why Taehyung? There are 7 members in BTS. Why did you pick him?" Huh? Wasn't it Taehyung who volunteered to be the boyfriend?

"Well actually it was ㅡ "

"Oh it's okay, you don't have to tell me. Taehyung already told me anyways. I know Taehyung was vulnerable during that time so you picked him, maybe in hopes that he'd actually like you? I don't know." I suddenly stopped what I'm doing and turned to face her with my eyebrows creased. What is this bitch saying?

"I'll tell you something, at first I was really jealous of you, thinking Taehyung and I might not get back together because you're in the way. But right now, I don't see anything special about you, so I have nothing to feel threatened about. I don't even know why Jimin adores you so much. I mean, no offense but you're not even pretty."

Reese then washed her hands and bumped her shoulders too harshly on mine as she walked away from me, not even giving me the chance to defend myself. I tried my best to hold back my tears and not cause any drama, knowing the members would throw a fit if they found out what have just happened. I continued to clean up the plates and went straight to the living room where they all are.
