TAEHYUNG'S POV

I'm not dreaming, am I? Jimin's really with Y/N? What has gotten into his head to court her? Does he think Y/N will like him as much as she liked me? How dare he break the bro code. He's not supposed to date her after Y/N and I dated.

She's moved on already? It's only been a few months after I decided to call it quits between us. Maybe she's just using Jimin to move on from me, and Jimin was too blinded to see that since he likes Y/N so much. Or maybe she's really moved on from me? That fast? Wow.

Why do you even care, Taehyung? You have Reese now. She's far prettier and nicer than Y/N.

Right. Who needs her? Jimin can have her. At least she's not my problem anymore.

I looked at the photo one more time, but it made me feel uneasy seeing them together in one photo. Maybe because I was used to seeing our photos being posted on our Twitter account. Ugh, whatever.

I decided to leave a comment on Jimin's post but then, I thought of deleting Y/N and I's photos before that, so I took time to go through the photos we uploaded and deleted them one by one.

After making sure all our photos were deleted, I went back to Jimin's post and left a comment using our group's Twitter account:

I felt proud after posting my comment and hoped Jimin would get my point and think twice about being in a relationship with Y/N.

I turned off my phone, but curiosity got the best of me. My eyes couldn't resist opening the app again. I scrolled through ARMY's reactions to my comment, feeling a mix of anxiety and amusement.

I read through the comments, my eyes scanning each one. It felt like the world was watching my every move. My comment was clearly getting attention, and some of ARMY had caught onto the undertones of my words. They weren't wrong. I wasn't entirely "happy" for Jimin but I had to act like it was no big deal.

The comment from @y/n_bts_army caught my eye, and my heart twisted. Did I really delete all the pictures of me and Y/N to make space for Jimin and Y/N?

I stared at the screen, unsure of what to feel. Maybe I had let my jealousy show a little too much. But I couldn't help it. The idea of seeing Y/N with someone else... especially Jimin, made my chest tighten.

I threw my phone aside and buried my face in my hands. Why do I even care?

I woke up feeling warm. Too warm. I tried opening my eyes, only to realize that someone had been clinging to me from behind. I turned around and saw Reese fast asleep, hugging me tightly from behind. How did she even get inside the dorm? I furrowed my brows as I gazed at her, a mix of confusion and frustration bubbling inside me.

I gently shifted, trying not to wake her, and finally got out of bed. As I stood there, looking down at her, I couldn't help but realize how much things between us had changed. I still loved her—at least, I thought I did—but I wasn't sure if it was the same kind of love I had for her before. The connection we once had seemed to be fading. But she was the only one I had left. The members wouldn't talk to me like they used to. I couldn't let her go; not yet. Maybe, just maybe, we could find our way back to what we once were.

"So, how did you get in the dorm?" I asked, breaking the silence over breakfast. Reese paused mid-bite, looked at me, and smiled.

"The guard wouldn't give me the keys or let me in," she started, her voice light but insistent, "but I convinced him I'm allowed in because I'm your girlfriend..." She looked at me, waiting for my response.

"But he still wouldn't let me in, so I had to make a scene in the lobby before they finally let me enter."

I raised an eyebrow. "A scene? What kind of scene?"

"I told the guard that if he didn't let me in, I'd make you kick him out." She shrugged nonchalantly, a smirk on her face. "I mean, jeez, it's like they don't know you or me. How could they not just let me in?"

I stared at her, feeling a mixture of disbelief and frustration. "What? Reese, you can't just harass the guards like that. I can't just kick them out, you know I don't have that kind of power. Look, please don't—"

She cut me off, her voice rising. "Are you saying I shouldn't have done that? You're telling me I was wrong?"

I sighed, trying to stay calm. "I'm saying that making a scene like that isn't a good idea. It could affect my reputation, and our group's image—"

She stood abruptly, slamming her plate down into the sink. Her expression was cold. "So now you're telling me your career is more important than me?"

"Reese, if you would just listen to—" I started, but she was already grabbing her bag and walking toward the door.

I called after her, "Reese!"

She stopped as she opened the door, her face pale as she glanced back over her shoulder.
