THIRTY

"But...."

Taehyung stopped talking and I'm left hanging, but what? I looked straight into his eyes, trying to look for the answer but he looked down and played with his fingers.

"But there are certain things I still need to fix. Don't get me wrong, I like you. I really do. And I really want to date you. Please be patient with me." I don't know what to feel. It's like he's telling me he likes me but he likes someone else too and wants me to wait for him while he's not yet sure of his feelings.

"I like you a lot. I've been feeling this since I can't remember but I hope you could make me happy and accept my feelings. I know it's confusing you more than the first time I tried to confess to you when we were at the park. But please... stay and be patient with me."

"Taehyung? Iㅡ" I'm suddenly speechless and I can see Taehyung's reaction, probably thinking I'm gonna reject his feelings.

"It's okay, Y/N. How can you even like me? I just thought I can have a chance to actually date you." My heart stopped. Right now he looks as if he's about to breakdown. What did his ex even do for him to be so broken like this? What do I do? Do I just let him in even though he's not 100 percent sure of his feelings yet? Do I take the risk or should I run away??

"Taehyung. I need to tell you something too." I sigh as I already know what to say. He looks up at me, and I took all the courage I have to say what I need to say.

"I like you too, I'll wait until you're ready." Taehyung suddenly stood up and went to my seat to hug me and went back to his seat, now with a smile on his face.

"Ah...and Y/N.

One more thing...

Can we not tell the members yet about us really dating?"

What? I want to suddenly open my mouth to ask why but he looked so happy now and I don't want to ruin his mood anymore so I just smiled a bit and nod. We continued to eat until it's time to go home. Taehyung's mood has been lighter after his confession. I was really happy to know that he likes me but still confused about what's going on in Taehyung's mind. I'm not even sure now if following my heart was the best decision I've made today.

"Y/N thank you so much for this day. I'm so happy." Taehyung hugged me and gave me a short peck on the lips as he walked me to my front door.

"Thank you, Tae. I had fun." Although I don't look convincing with what I said at all, Taehyung doesn't seem to mind and went on his way back to the car, rolled down the window and waved goodbye as he drove off and I released a deep sigh. This is going to be a roller-coaster ride.

As I get ready for bed, I made sure to post something on Twitter since the prank is still on going and I have to do my part.

In just a few seconds, my post gained tons of likes and replies. Also earning a like from BTS' account. Not sure if it was Taehyung who saw it or the other members.

TAEHYUNG'S POV

I got home feeling relieved knowing that I'm finally able to confess my feelings to Y/N and that she feels the same way. I hope I didn't hurt her feelings when I asked her to hide our real status to the members, I know they'd find the idea absurd since they think I'm still not over Reese. I mean I am over her. I just... I don't know why I got so pissed after seeing her post a photo of her and our staff on IG.

I haven't told anyone but Reese have been trying to talk to me for a while telling me she and our staff aren't together anymore because she still loves me. And that she'll fight for me again. But what was that post all about?

It's not that I was expecting anything but is she making me look stupid?

As I charge my phone, I received 3 messages from Reese and I felt annoyed. I don't want to talk to her right now but I suddenly felt curious with what she's going to say so I tapped the notif and her messaged opened.

I know I just confessed to Y/N and I'm not supposed to talk to Reese anymore. But I just need answers. I have to know why she keeps lying to me so I replied.

I grabbed my coat and went out of my room to meet Reese. As I was about to leave the dorm, I saw Jungkook at the kitchen, drinking his banana milk while holding his phone.

"Hyung. Where are you going?"

"I'm just going to buy something at the store."

"In a coat?"

"It's cold, Kook. Why are you still up?"

"I just finished playing overwatch and got thirsty so I went here and grabbed some banana drink and then I saw you going down the stairs and you saw me drinking my banana milk and I asked you where you're going and you saidㅡ"

"Alright I get it, I get it!!" Jungkook flashed his bright bunny smile and I waved him goodbye. Before I closed the door he suddenly shouted.

"Hyung!!! Y/N posted something sweet on Twitter. I liked it already. You should reply."

"Yes later!! Bye, Kook! I'm in a hurry!" I waved and left the dorm then ran towards the park where I used to meet Reese before. This better be important.
