YOUR POV

As expected, I couldn't sleep a wink last night, my mind relentlessly spinning over the words Taehyung said. I know I shouldn't be overthinking this, that it shouldn't bother me at all, especially since he's with Reese now. Maybe he just said it out of guilt, after all, he left me hanging since my birthday. But why does it still gnaw at me? Why, Kim Taehyung, are you doing this to me?

Glancing at the clock, I realized it was already 6 a.m., and I hadn't slept a single minute. The windows in my room were blocked by thick curtains, so I hadn't noticed the daylight creeping in. I was about to let myself sleep in for the day when I heard the unmistakable sound of knocks at my front door, followed by faint voices coming from behind it.

Groaning, I dragged myself out of bed and shuffled toward the door. As I opened it, I was met with chaos outside my apartment.

"Ya! I told you to hold the paper bags properly so they won't fall!" Jin was scolding Jimin and RM as they scrambled to chase after apples and tomatoes that were rolling across the floor. Jungkook and Hobi were laughing uncontrollably, while Yoongi just shook his head in disbelief. It took a moment for them to notice that I'd already opened the door, and when they did, they all stopped and turned toward me, grinning in unison.

"Y/N!" RM called out, and the rest of them beamed at me, their smiles bright enough to melt anyone's heart. Why are they all so adorable?

I chuckled, shaking my head, and gestured for them to come inside. One by one, they filed into the living room and plopped down on the couch, turning on the TV, while Jin carefully placed the paper bags one by one onto the kitchen counter.

"So, what brings you guys here?" I asked, standing near the couch, but they all turned to face me with a look that suggested I'd done something wrong. What did I do?

"Probably because someone here doesn't know she's still our friend but refuses to talk to us anymore. And we have no idea why," Hoseok said, raising an eyebrow. I could only manage a shy smile, looking down at my fingers. I hadn't realized how much they were missing me until I started declining their invites.

"I'm sorry. It's just that I—"

"You don't need to explain, Y/N. We get it... well, partly, we do," Yoongi said, his tone softening as he stood up and pulled me into a hug. The rest of the guys followed suit, enveloping me in a warm group hug. I couldn't help but wonder—what did I do to deserve such amazing friends?

Jin prepared a delicious meal, and we spent the rest of the afternoon catching up, laughing about the chaos they'd caused earlier. After we ate, the boys decided to watch a movie while Jin and I cleaned up the dishes.

As I dried the plates Jin had washed, he turned to me with a curious look. "Y/N... did you know Taehyung replied to your tweet last night?"

"Yeah, I saw. I'm confused, but I didn't let it get to me. Maybe he was just being friendly or something," I replied, though the doubt in my voice was hard to ignore.

"Ah, I see," Jin said, his gaze lingering on me for a moment. "But those bags under your eyes tell me otherwise."

I could feel my face turn red with embarrassment, knowing he was right. My lack of sleep was evident, the dark circles under my eyes practically screaming for attention.

"We don't know what's going on in Taehyung's head, but just... don't let him hurt you again." He wrapped me in a side hug, and I smiled gratefully, appreciating his support. We continued with the cleanup, eager to join the guys for the movie.

JIMIN'S POV

The boys and I had settled in to watch a movie while Y/N and Jin hyung finished cleaning up. I found a small couch near the TV, just off to the side where I could see Y/N and Jin washing dishes. RM, Yoongi, and Hoseok were all engrossed in the movie, and Jungkook sat on the floor, munching on chips.

I couldn't help but watch Y/N as she moved about, her face a picture of exhaustion. It was clear that Taehyung's actions were still haunting her, that he had kept her up all night, making her cry. It broke my heart to see her like this. Her eyes were tired, but she still managed to smile, putting on a brave face so none of us would worry.

"Ya. Stop staring. She's gonna melt any second now." Hobi hyung whispered in my ear, pulling me out of my trance. I hadn't realized I was staring at Y/N for that long, and when I looked at him, his grin made it clear he was teasing me.

"I... I'm not staring. I was just—"

"Admiring her." Hobi hyung raised an eyebrow, and I felt my cheeks warm as I tried to shove him playfully.

"Hyung, if you don't shut up, I'm—"

"Alright, alright. But Jimin-ah, tell me the truth. Do you like her? I mean, do you really like her?" Hobi hyung's teasing expression shifted into something more serious. I looked over at Y/N, who was now being hugged by Jin, and then back at Hobi.

"I... I do. You already know that, right?"

"I'm just making sure you're not just being protective of her because Taehyung hurt her feelings. But Jimin, why not give it a shot? You're such a great guy. I'm sure she'll like you too."

"I want to, hyung. You know that. But I can't help thinking about Taehyung. He's my best friend. What if she still likes him? Wouldn't that hurt too much?"

"Do you really think Y/N is stupid enough to run back to that idiot?" Hobi hyung asked, raising an eyebrow, clearly frustrated on her behalf.

"I... Well, I—"

"Jimin, give it a shot. You never know. Maybe Taehyung was just the bridge that led her to you."

I paused, letting his words sink in. Maybe Hobi was right. Maybe everything that had happened so far had been leading me to this moment.

Hobi stood up and returned to his spot next to Yoongi, leaving me alone with my thoughts. Y/N and Jin hyung were finishing up in the kitchen, then joined Jungkook on the carpet.

Maybe I should give it a shot. Should I?
