TWENTY EIGHT

TAEHYUNG'S POV

I got home with a smile on my face, recalling what my mom told me before we leave Dageu.

"Keep her. She's worth it."

I quietly opened the front door, afraid that the members were probably asleep by now since the lights were already off. Seeing the living room dark and quiet, I went upstaris to my room. It has been a tiring yet wonderful day.

"Taehyungiiiieee~ how was your date?" I got surprised when Jimin jumped in front of me as I open the door to my room. Behind Jimin were the members gathered on my room.

"Ya why are you all here?"

"We're waiting for you. Remember we're ending the prank before the day ends." I checked the time and it's almost 12am. Right, we have to tell our ARMYs that it was just a prank.

I dropped my bag and took a seat beside Jimin who's on his phone now, opening our twitter account.

"Taehyung you should be the one to type and tell ARMYs that it's just a prank."

I suddenly felt a slight pang on the heart. There's something in me that doesn't want to end it just yet. Taehyung, do something!

"Ah hyung.. can't we extend the prank for like a month?" I smiled nervously looking at all the members who shoot up their head to face me. Jimin who's also holding out her phone to me looked surprised and I started to feel embarrassed.

"Uh.. I just thought it might be a good idea to make it look really convincing. ARMYs are also taking it positively so... just." I looked nervously at RM hyung, trying to see if he'll approve then at Jungkook who started this prank. Maybe he'll support me on this.

"Is that the only reason why you want to extend the prank?" Yoongi hyung looked like he can see right through me. But I'm not even hiding anything. I just want it to look more convincing.

"Yes hyung. I think it would be more effective if we try to prolong the prank so people will really believe it."

"Fine then. Do what you want. Just make sure no damages will be made throughout the prank, Taehyung. A month is still a month. Anything can happen." RM hyung sighs and stood up the tapped my shoulders then leaves my room.

Jimin looked at Hoseok hyung and I saw him shake his head in disbelief. He then locked his phone as they both stood up and leave along with Jungkook. Yoongi hyung then followed behind, leaving me and Jin hyung in my room.

"...and no heart gets broken. Good night, Tae." Jin hyung says as he looks back at me before closing the door. I sighed and laid back on my bed, processing all their reactions. Why do they look disappointed? Don't they want to hangout with Y/N for a longer time?

I closed my eyes and drift off.

YOUR POV

I finished washing up after Taehyung dropped me off. Laying down on my bed, I'm still surprised that Taehyung actually kissed me. I mean he took me to meet his parents and then kissed me twice in one day. Does that mean he likes me? Oh no, no Y/N. Stop assuming things.

But come to think of it, do I like him? I think I'm starting to like Taehyung.

Just when I was about to put down my phone, I remembered Taehyung is going to admit that our relationship was just a prank. But how come I haven't received any notifs from Twitter yet? Did they forget? Or Twitter is just acting up again?

I opened the bird app and went straight to BTS' account but there's none. Maybe they forgot? Should I remind Tae?

Taehyung?
You guys forgot you should
tell everyone that our relationship
was just a prank.

waited for a reply but there's none. Maybe he's not home yet? I decided to send a DM to BTS' twitter account but my phone suddenly beeped, I checked my kakao only to see Jimin sent me a message.

Jimin:
Hey Y/N! 😊

Me:
Oh Jimin hello!
How are you?

Jimin:
I'm great. You?
Why are you still awake?

Me:
Ah I just finished washing up.
Anything I could help you with?

Jimin:
Nothing much.
I just wanna talk to you.

Me:
😂 okay then.
Ah Jimin?
Did you guys forget you should announce that Taehyung and I's relationship is just a prank?

Jimin:
Yeah we're supposed to but
Taehyung wanted not to.

Me:
Huh?
What do you mean?

Jimin:
I'm too lazy to type.
Can I call instead? 😊

Me:
Sure, go ahead.
