April Fools | A BTS Fanfic

TEN

I arrived outside their building thirty minutes before our meeting time. I find myself staring at the tall gray building in front of me. What if they won't let me in? I'm sure the staff from this office would just send me out thinking I'm a sasaeng who wants to sneak in because of BTS.

I gathered up my courage and stepped inside the building. The interior was something I have already imagined, it was simple yet elegant. People were busy with their own task and some are already preparing to go home. I walked towards the front office and a lady looked up at me with a smile on her face.

"Welcome to BigHit Entertainment. What can I help you with?" I looked down at my fingers finding the right words to say so that she'll believe that Namjoon wanted to talk to me personally.

"I uh- I'm here to see Namjoo- I mean, Kim Namjoon."

"Do you have an appointment with RM?" The lady eyed me suspiciously and I can't help but feel uncomfortable with her stare. She looks nice but I just don't like it that people would stare at me as if I'm doing something crazy. I knew it, she won't believe me. What am I thinking? Should I just go back?

"Uh, no. Actually Iㅡ " I opened my mouth to speak again but I was cut off by a manly voice that was from behind me.

"It's okay, I'll take her from here. Sorry to bother you, Noona."

I froze upon realizing who the owner of that voice was. My heart is now again beating fast and my hands starts to sweat.

"Hi. Sorry, did I scare you?" I turned around and there I confirmed that the person who I thought was the owner of that sexy voice was really him.

"No, no. It's all good." And there he flashed the brightest smile I have ever seen in my whole life. It was so warm that I never wanted to look at anything else anymore.

"Come on, Namjoon's been waiting for you. We're all excited to see you! Ah by the way, you already know who I am that's for sure but it would be rude for me not to introduce myself to a beautiful lady. Hello, I'm Jung Hoseok. It's nice to finally meet you." He extended his hand to me for a handshake and I gladly took his. My nervousness was all gone seeing him smiling warmly at me. I felt so welcomed. He makes me feel safe and at ease. No wonder SuMin likes him so much.

He escorted me to the elevator up to the 8th floor where their conference room was located. In just a minute of staying inside the elevator with Hoseok I already feel like we've known each other for years. He was very friendly and bright. And man does he talk a lot.... but in a good way of course.

As we approach the conference room, I can hear laughter and shouting from the inside of the room. I smiled knowing they're probably playing with each other. But I halted when I suddenly felt nervous. Oh my god I'm seeing all 7 of them in person and up close. Not only that, I'm gonna be with them inside a small room.

What the heck, Y/N. Put your shit together. Stop panicking and acting like a werid fangirl. I shook my head and looked to up to see Hoseok looking at me with concerned eyes while he walks closer to me. He stood beside me and draped his arm around my shoulder.

"Relax. They won't bite." He gave me a hearty laugh and I chucked along with him. He then walked towards the door and opened it, revealing the 6 other beautiful men sitting around the conference room as if they're actually in a formal meeting. All eyes are on me and I can't help but look up at Hoseok who's also staring at me now. Is there something on my face?

"Ya. Don't make her feel uncomfortable." Hoseok chuckled as he led me to a seat next to him and across Namjoon.

"Hi Y/N. It's nice to finally meet you! I'm Namjoon by the way. Of course you already know." He chuckled while he scratch the back of his head in embarassment.

"And of course you know the others too, here's Jin hyung, Suga hyung ㅡ"

"Hyung let us introduce ourselves on our own!" Namjoon was cut off by a whining Park Jimin. He's just as adorable as he is on the vidoes that I've watched.

"Hi, I'm the fairy of this group, Park Jimin. It's nice to meet you! Let's be friends!"

"Hello~ I'm V. You can call me Taetae. Do you want to see Yeontan? He's just there in the other room playing with our managers."

"Hi. I'm Suga! Nice to finally meet you. I hope the other members aren't making you uncomfortable" Taehyung now joins Jimin as they both whine after Yoongi introduced himself to me.

"Ya! Hyung how is that making her feel uncomfortable. We want to be friends with her."

"Whatever. Okay, Jin hyung?"

"Hello~ my name is Jin. I'm world wide-"

"Handsome." We said at the same time.

"Wow! You're good! Yeah, I'm world wide handsome you know?"

"Hi noona, my name is Jungkook. You can call me Kookie if you want."

"Okay, Kookie. Hello! It's nice to meet you all!"

I looked at them feeling a bit shy but more comfortable now as they introduce themselves to me. I figured they're the same people as the boys I've watched on several interviews and vidoes. They are so genuine.

"Please, please don't feel shy around us. We'd appreciate it if you treat us not as idols but as friends. We don't want you to think highly of us because we're just normal boys who also work for a living." I smiled at Namjoon who's obviously making an effort to make me feel at ease around them. These men, they are so humble.

"Okay so I don't want to stretch this any further so I'm gonna explain why you're here with us right now." Me and the boys are now attentively listening to Namjoon. I rested my hands on the table while I stare at his eyes as he talks.

"So April Fools are coming up and we thought about a prank this year like we always do. I know ARMYs got their plans already and we want to outdo our prank this time."

So they know about our april fools prank already? Wow. These boys are really updated.

"Okay. So what's my part on your prank this year?" We are now talking as if Namjoon and I are talking about a business proposal.

"So Jungkook here had an idea and that was to pretend that one of us has a girlfriend..."

"Girlfriend?" I squeaked as my eyes shoot open. Whoa whoa whoaaaa~

"So I'm guessing you already know what your role is then?" Namjoon smiled at me and as I look at the others, they were all smiling at me as if they are waiting for me to say yes.

"Uh.. I think so. But... i-is this a g-good idea? I mean - I don't want people to attack me." Just thinking about people flooding my twitter with hate made me feel anxious. I mean it's an honor and who wouldn't want to be BTS' girlfriend even if it's just a fake one but it's just too dangerous.

Yoongi saw my worried expression as I stare at Namjoon, speechless. He held my hand and I looked at him.

"Don't worry, we got it all planned out and we'll protect you too just incase it gets out of hand."

"Plus, it's just a prank..

...what could possibly go wrong?"
