I arrived outside their building thirty minutes before our meeting time. I found myself staring at the tall gray building in front of me. What if they won't let me in? I'm sure the staff from this office would just send me out, thinking I'm a sasaeng who wants to sneak in because of BTS.

I gathered up my courage and stepped inside the building. The interior was exactly what I had imagined: simple yet elegant. People were busy with their own tasks, and some were already preparing to go home. I walked towards the front office, and a lady looked up at me with a smile.

"Welcome to BigHit Entertainment. What can I help you with?"

I looked down at my fingers, trying to find the right words to say so she would believe Namjoon wanted to talk to me personally.

"I uh- I'm here to see Namjoo- I mean, Kim Namjoon."

"Do you have an appointment with RM?" The lady eyed me suspiciously, and I couldn't help but feel uncomfortable with her stare. She seemed nice, but I just didn't like being looked at like I was doing something crazy. I knew it, she won't believe me. What am I even thinking? Should I just go back?

"Uh, no. Actually, I—" I opened my mouth to speak again, but was cut off by a warm, friendly voice behind me.

"It's okay, I'll take her from here. Sorry to bother you, Noona."

I froze upon realizing who the voice belonged to. My heart started racing, and my hands began to sweat.

"Hi. Sorry, did I scare you?" I turned around and there I confirmed—yep, it was him. The person with the voice I'd been imagining.

"No, no. It's all good." And there he flashed the brightest smile I'd ever seen in my life. It was so warm that I never wanted to look at anything else again.

"Come on, Namjoon's been waiting for you. We're all excited to see you! Oh, by the way, you probably already know who I am, but it'd be rude not to introduce myself to a beautiful lady. Hello, I'm Jung Hoseok. Nice to finally meet you." He extended his hand for a handshake, and I gladly took it. My nervousness was gone the moment I saw him smile at me. He made me feel so welcome. Safe. At ease. No wonder SuMin likes him so much.

He escorted me to the elevator and up to the 8th floor, where their conference room was. In just a minute inside the elevator with Hoseok, I felt like we'd known each other for years. He was super friendly and bright. And man, did he talk a lot... but in a good way, of course.

As we approached the conference room, I could hear laughter and shouting from inside. I smiled, knowing they were probably playing with each other. But then, I suddenly felt nervous. Oh my god, I'm seeing all 7 of them in person and up close. Not only that, I'm going to be in a room with them.

What the heck, Y/N? Get it together. Stop panicking and acting like a weird fangirl.

I shook my head and looked up to see Hoseok looking at me with concerned eyes as he walked closer. He stood beside me and draped his arm around my shoulder.

"Relax. They won't bite." He gave me a hearty laugh, and I chuckled with him. He then opened the door, revealing the six other beautiful men sitting around the conference table like they were actually in a formal meeting. All eyes were on me, and I couldn't help but look at Hoseok, who was also staring at me. Is there something on my face?

"Ya. Don't make her feel uncomfortable." Hoseok chuckled, leading me to a seat next to him and across Namjoon.

"Hi Y/N! It's nice to finally meet you! I'm Namjoon, by the way. I'm sure you already know." He chuckled while scratching the back of his head in embarrassment.

"And of course, you know the others too. Here's Jin hyung, Suga hyung—"

"Hyung, let us introduce ourselves!" Namjoon was cut off by a whining Park Jimin. He was just as adorable as he was in the videos.

"Hi, I'm the fairy of this group, Park Jimin! It's nice to meet you! Let's be friends!"

"Hello~ I'm V. You can call me Taetae. Do you want to see Yeontan? He's in the other room playing with our managers."

"Hi, I'm Suga! Nice to finally meet you. I hope the others aren't making you uncomfortable." Taehyung joined Jimin as they both whined after Yoongi introduced himself to me.

"Ya! Hyung, how is that making her uncomfortable? We want to be friends with her!"

"Whatever. Okay, Jin hyung?"

"Hello~ my name is Jin. I'm worldwide—"

"Handsome," we both said at the same time.

"Wow! You're good! Yeah, I'm worldwide handsome, you know?"

"Hi noona, my name is Jungkook. You can call me Kookie if you want."

"Okay, Kookie. Hello! It's nice to meet you all!"

I looked at them, feeling a bit shy but much more comfortable now as they introduced themselves to me. They were the same people I had watched in countless interviews and videos. They're so genuine.

"Please, please don't feel shy around us. We'd appreciate it if you treated us not as idols but as friends. We don't want you to think highly of us because we're just normal guys who also work for a living." I smiled at Namjoon, who was obviously trying his best to make me feel at ease around them. These men were so humble.

"Okay, so I don't want to stretch this out any further, so I'm gonna explain why you're here with us right now." The boys and I were now all paying close attention to Namjoon. I rested my hands on the table, looking up at him as he spoke.

"So, April Fools is coming up, and we thought about a prank this year like we always do. I know ARMYs have their plans already, and we want to outdo their prank this time."

So they know about our April Fools prank already? Wow. These boys are really updated.

"Okay, so what's my part in your prank this year?" We're now talking like we're discussing a business proposal.

"So Jungkook here had an idea, and it was to pretend that one of us has a girlfriend..."

Girlfriend? I squeaked, my eyes wide. Whoa, whoa, whoaaaa~

"So I'm guessing you already know what your role is, then?" Namjoon smiled at me, and as I looked at the others, they were all waiting for me to say yes.

"Uh... I think so. But... I-is this a g-good idea? I mean... I don't want people to attack me." The thought of people flooding my Twitter with hate made me anxious. I mean, it's an honor, and who wouldn't want to be BTS' girlfriend—even if it's just fake? But it's just too dangerous.

Yoongi saw my worried expression as I stared at Namjoon, speechless. He gently took my hand, and I looked up at him.

"Don't worry, we've got it all planned out, and we'll protect you too just in case it gets out of hand."

"Plus, it's just a prank...

what could possibly go wrong?"
