Narrator's POV
The guild was as rowdy as ever. Drinking, partying, fighting, the things that were definitely most common at this guild of wild mages.

But something had seemed off these past few months, but no one seemed quite able to figure out why. No one had noticed a change in the guild, well except for a few members.

Mirajane noticed there was no longer a bright, bubbly girl looking over the job requests for something to pay rent.

Erza noticed that a certain celestial spirit mage was no longer accompanying her and team Natsu on jobs.

Juvia noticed that a certain love rival was nowhere near gray, or anyone in the guild for that matter.

Levy noticed her best friend was gone, not at her house, not on a job, not at the guild.

And Happy noticed that one of his favorite people in the entire world was no longer there to give him a fish.

Makarov came down the steps of the guild hall, no one noticed at first until a giant fist came and smashed down on the people fighting and causing a ruckus.

"Good morning master!" Mirajane said cheerfully, although it was behind a fake smile, "letters from the council?" She questioned noticing a few letters in his hands.

"No my child... they're letters from Lucy." He said and the entire guild went quiet.

"L-letters from Lu-?" Levy looked up at the master, he nodded and stuck out a letter for Levy, and quite a few packages. She accepted the letters and sat down next to Gajeel, Jet, and Droy, "she didn't just leave after all..." Levy mumbled.

"As you can see there are quite a few letters. Sadly not everyone got one as I was informed from a letter to me that she did not quite have the time." Makarov said, "please come accept your letter when your name is called." He said.

"A letter for Mirajane." He said, Mira hurried forwards and grabbed the letter, she held it to her chest like it was worth a fortune or something.

"A letter for Wendy." Wendy looked shocked, she didn't quite expect to get a letter but gladly accepted it.

"A letter for team Natsu." Makarov said, the members of team Natsu looked quite shocked, after how they had treated Lucy, they didn't quite expect to get a letter. They quickly accepted the letter with tears forming in the corner of their eyes.

"A letter for Juvia and Gajeel." Now they had the most shocked expressions. They had never been close to Lucy but they did consider her a friend and reliable ally, deep down they were both happy to get a letter and happily accepted it.

"A letter for the exceeds." Happy wasted no time grabbing the letter from Makarov and flying around, happy that he had received a letter.

"And finally, a letter to all of us.. to the guild." He said, "if you do not mind, please read your letters aloud. Mirajane?"

"Of course master," she opened the letter and read aloud.

'Dear Mirajane,
I hope that you aren't too upset about my leaving, I just needed some time alone, ya know? After everything that happened at the GMG and then at the guild I got the hint I wasn't wanted around.

Thank you Mira, thank you for never treating me like trash, thank you for threatening those who did hurt me. I will never forget the time I first met you, and I hope you don't forget me either.
