Luigi woke up in his room ready to start this brand new day. He looked out the window to see snow falling beautifully coating the forest around him. "Today is such a nice day", Luigi said. He got up and walked out of the room to see Mario sitting at the dining room table drinking coffee. "Morning bro", Mario said handing him a cup. Luigi smiled back and waved as he started to make his cup. "What's going on today", Luigi asked. "Well Peach is having a get-together with all of us, but that's not until late", Mario said. "Sounds like fun I can't wait to go", Luigi said. Mario looked over at the clock on the wall and sighed," look at the time, I'm supposed to go help Toad move some things in his house". Luigi smiled and Mario got up from his seat. "Oh have fun at Bowser's, he's probably waiting for you at his door, haha", Mario smiled. Luigi watched as Mario walked out the door. Luigi looked at the clock and his eyebrows furrowed. The clock hands seemed to be spinning constantly making him a tad dizzy. "That's odd, the clock is broken, I'll fix it when I get home".

"We're losing him, hurry open the first operating room he needs immediate surgery".
A gurney with Luigi on bullets through the hallway as surgeons frantically trying to keep him alive. "He's flatlining" "CLEAR!".

Luigi made it to Bowser's castle and felt a slight shock go through his body. "That was a strange chill", He said. He opened the door and there was Bowser's waiting for him. "Babe you're here", he said. Bowser lifted Luigi and showered him with kisses. He then embraced him in a big tight hug, but Luigi felt that something was off. Bowser felt cold, it was very unsettling, but Luigi didn't care. He got to see his love again and that's all that mattered. Bowser held his hand as he leads him to his garden for a small stroll. "So how are you babe", Bowser asked. Luigi smiled," Same old same old, every day just gets better and better". The continued to walk as Luigi thought for a moment. (Wait, I can't remember what I did yesterday). Bowser bought Luigi to his favorite spot where they sat and gazed upon the beautiful flowers. "You did a good job with the garden", Luigi said. Bowser smiled and hugged him again. As Bowser let go Luigi shivered a bit. "is there something wrong", he asked. Luigi looked up and smiled," I'm fine just a small chill". They both got up to walk some more as Luigi's body temperature seemed to get lower and lower. (Why am I so cold).

"We're losing him!", a nurse replied. A long beep was echoing throughout the room. "Charge the difibulators.......CLEAR".

Luigi felt a shock that caused him to stumble. He also noticed his body temperature returned to normal. "Um Luigi, are you ok, you don't look so well", Bowser said holding onto Luigi. "I'm fine, I just need to go home now, I have to get ready for the special party Peach planned", He said. Bowser smiled and giggled," Well I'll give you a ride so you can get home quicker babe". They gave each other another hug as Bowser took Luigi to his car.
Luigi made it home as the chill in his body seemed to return, stronger than before. He began shivering so much that he felt like he was going to vomit. He felt his chest pound heavily as his breathing starting to feel short. He sat on his bed as he heard his door open. "Luigi what's wrong!", Mario said as he ran to his side. "I feel so cold, a-and I can barely breath", Luigi said. Mario held Luigi as he continued to shake. Luigi stopped shivering and sighed. "Hey let's go to the party Luigi, maybe it will make you feel better", Mario said. Luigi as much as he wanted to stay home to work out the chills, he decided to go ahead with his brother.
Mario picked out a nice outfit to wear for the party, Luigi was a tad confused because Mario doesn't really do this for him. "Why are you picking my outfit", Luigi asked. Mario smiled," Well I thought I just help you out, to make you Happy". It indeed made Luigi happy, but he can't remember why or what would make Mario suddenly do this. "Who's going to be at the party", Luigi asked. Mario smiled brightly warming Luigi's heart," Everyone we know of course," Peach, Toad, Toadette, Wario, Waluigi, and Bowser". Luigi thought for a moment as there were a few names missing," Wait does Daisy still hate me, after what I did to her". Mario stared at Luigi confused," Who's Daisy?". Luigi paused and gave off a nervous smile," Haha very funny Mario, stop screwing around you know who Daisy is". Mario still confused protested," No I'm not joking, I have no idea who a 'Daisy' is, such a ridiculously name to give someone if you ask me haha". "Brown hair, yellow and orange dress, tomboyish like personality, has a whole kingdom Sarasaland, Mario stop playing games", Luigi panicked. Mario walked to Luigi and felt his forehead," did those chills make you hallucinate or something". Luigi slapped his hand," What's going on with you, I know I was upset with Daisy, but it's not like you to pretend she doesn't exist, I'll ask Toadsworth. Mario had a firm grip on Luigi's shoulders," Bro who's this Toadsworth, you're making these names up". Luigi felt his heart start to race with fear, he didn't know what was going on. He looked up at the clock in his room and noticed that both of the hands were spinning frantically. "The clocks, what's going on with them, they've been like this all day", Luigi asked. Mario stayed silent. And Bowser, he felt cold throughout the entire day, I didn't feel a connection with him like I usually do, yes he gave me kisses and hugs but they didn't feel the same and...Mario. You hate Bowser, why the sudden change I don't remember you two ever making up, I can't remember anything, WHY. Mario held onto Luigi giving him a cold gaze causing his body to freeze. He looked heartbroken," You're not happy". Luigi looked at Mario unable to move," Who are you, you're not Mario". "I wanted to keep this a secret so you wouldn't stress so you can stay happy", Mario said. The room around them began to melt and distort until there was nothing left but swirls of color. Luigi broke free from Mario's grasp trembling," Where am I, tell me"! "This is a world created by those who are almost about to meet their end, in other words, it's a world that you created, a 'Perfect world'-", Mario said,"- I'm a perfect version of Mario, a Mario you've always dreamed of". Luigi was still in disbelief. Everything seemed to be coming at him way too quickly, but one thing bothered him, "You said a world where people 'almost' meet their end". Mario stepped forward and slowly held Luigi's trembling hand, trying to relax him. "I don't want to scare you Luigi, but in you're world....you're dying".

Peach came back to the hospital to check up on Luigi. She found a few doctors standing outside his room talking. "Princess, what brings you here", Doctor Toad asked. "Doctor, I came to ask you how Luigi's doing", She asked. The few doctors gave each other a worried glance. "Well he's in the worst condition I've ever seen anyone in, he has several severely broken bones, luckily his spine is still intact so he's not paralyzed", The doctor replied. "Is there anything else", she asked. "Punctures through his arms, several cuts, and bruises, severe head trauma, and a shattered leg bone that looks like it was caught in a bear trap or something". Peach felt her blood run cold as she felt a chill in the air from death lurking over Luigi. "What are his chances of survival", She asked. All the doctors were quiet until one pulled out a form. "Give this to Mario, it's papers for loans for..... funeral cost, and a Will", he said. Peach felt like she was going to collapse she couldn't possibly give these papers to Mario, Mario would lose his mind, she couldn't imagine him without his brother. "Luigi has a 5% chance of living, if he doesn't wake up anytime soon, he'll probably never wake up at all". Peach took the papers and walked away with them shedding a few years while looking through the window at Luigi. She mumbled a prayer under her breath," Please wake up Luigi".
