Luigi spent a few minutes in the kitchen trying to whip up something for Bowser Jr. And Bowser. "What are you making", Bowser Jr. Asked as he stood on his tippy toes to peek. "Just pancakes, something simple, here try some", Luigi said. Luigi handed Jr. A small piece and he ate it with a very delighted expression. "Mmmmm Yummy", he replied. "I always cook when I used to live with Mario. Mario only knows how to cook 2 things and that's spaghetti and Lasagna, everything else he burns", Luigi chuckled. They both chuckled along telling jokes while Luigi finished up. They both heard heavy footsteps coming towards the kitchen. Bowser came through the castle doorway and yawned. He sat at the table and smirked at the two. "What are you two up too?", He asked. "Jr was keeping me company while I made you two breakfast". Bowser Jr ran to his dad to give him a hug before sitting at the table as well. Luigi filled all there plates and sat them on the table for them to eat. Luigi watched as Bowser and Jr. Seemed to eat without chewing which was kinda funny. "Jr. You eat a lot like your dad haha". Jr gulped his food and wiped his mouth with a napkin. "I wanna be big like Papa, but I wanna have muscles, not Papa's belly. Bowser blushed in embarrassment as Luigi laughed historically.

Mario rolled around bed sighing. He tried to take his mind off Luigi leaving yesterday by hanging around the castle, but it was no use. He felt a small dark cloud hovering over him as he sulked in his bed. He really was happy that his brother was happy, but he was just so lonely without him here. He jumped out of bed and decided to go for a walk around the kingdom to keep his mind off things.
Mario walked along a very common path where a lot of people come work walk jog and chat. He received a few hellos from people who passed by but was still feeling a tad down. (Luigi, I'm happy that you're happy, but why am I sad). Mario brought his attention to a crowd of people surrounding an area around a tree. The people looked to be in a huge panic as they were looking up. Mario being curious ran over to see what was going on. As he got over there, police toads were at the scene as something was dangling from the tree. It was covered in a cloth so it almost looked like someone hung up Halloween decorations a bit too early. Mario walked up to the officers. "What's going on?", He asked. The officer not breaking his attention from the cloth responded," I'm not sure we just got reports of a mysterious hanging object. A few other officers had climbed the tree and started to cut the rope that the thing was attached too. It started to sway and Mario noticed that some sort of liquid was dripping from it. "Wait is that-?". The object fell down and the cloth covering it flew off it. Petrified screams were heard throughout the crowd as Mario stared. He felt his stomach churn from the grotesque sight of someone's bleeding corpse. But it wasn't just anyone's corpse, it was...Wario. Wario's body was extremely pale, his body covered in stab marks, but his expression made it seem like he was still in agony even though death. An officer quickly too the cloth and covered the body quickly. Another officer forced the Crowd to back up as they started to investigate. "I'll inform the princess", Mario said. He backed away and began to run as fast as he could to the castle.

Peach was sitting quietly on her throne. It's been very quiet ever since Toadsworth was sent to prison and she started to feel a tad lonesome. Mario burst through the throne room doors in a panic. "M-Mario what's wrong"? Mario's skin was pale trying to find the words to put together. "Wa.ah..um", Mario muttered. "M-Mario relax", Peach said as s she got up to comfort Mario. "Now tell me what's wrong", she asked. "Wario's...dead". Peach felt a cold chill run down her spine as those words echoed in the air. She stood and turned away. "I'll inform Toad and we'll discuss the matter, I need you to aid the Police as much as you can. And break the news to Waluigi", Peach said. Mario nodded and ran out of the doors. Peach stood for a but she didn't know what to do, she didn't know what was going on.
Mario made it back to the scene and the police were still investigating. "Hello officers did you find anything", he asked. One of them nodded," Yes we'll sort of, we found someone's DNA under his fingernails and are trying to pinpoint who done it". Mario glanced at the sheet that covered the body. (Who would do such a thing).
"I have to go, I need to tell Waluigi", Mario said. The officers nodded as he walked away. Dreading on what Waluigi would say about this. Mario had never liked Wario, but he couldn't understand why someone would kill him. He did do A lot of shady crap, but he was still a good person. As Mario walked away on the jogging path far from the crime scene. He saw Waluigi taking his normal jog. Waluigi looked at Mario and waved. Mario gulped as he felt his skin turn pale and palms sweat. "Hello Mario, it's been a while", Waluigi said. Mario sighed, "Waluigi can we talk somewhere private". Waluigi looked confused but nodded in agreement.

"Princess-" Toad said,"-The police figured out who did it". Peach sitting on her throne sat up and followed Toad to view the evidence. "I see, so what's the motive", She asked. Toad pulled out a file from a desk."Well, I got some information from some witnesses and they said that Wario was hanging out this guy a lot, and some saw him in the area the night before the murder. "Ok...well send a group to collect him", Peach said.

Waluigi sat in silence on his couch and Mario finished giving him the news. "Are you going to be ok", Mario asked. Waluigi started to tear up," No I'm not, but I'll be ok". Mario decided to leave Waluigi be and go to Bowser's castle to tell Luigi. "I'll make the funeral arrangements for him", Waluigi said as he laid down. "The police might come to an question you and find out what happened, I don't believe you done it, but it's routine", Mario said. "I understand, I'll give them my full cooperation". Mario made his way out of the house and sighed. "Time to tell Luigi".
