Chapter 35

Liam gave me the car keys and went to kiss me on the lips, instead I moved my head just enough for him to kiss my cheek.

"Kacie..." He said.

"Don't, not right now, ok?" I pleaded. He nodded his head and I walked away. I walked to the car and thought of the possibilities Louis could have meant. Was Liam lying to me about his feelings? Maybe he does love me but more than I do? I don't want to think of this. Liam doesn't seem like the type to cheat, does he?

"But Harry seemed fine before he killed himself didn't he." A voice says to me. Great, now I was hearing thing again. I got to the car and unlocked it. I grabbed my pill container and closed the door. I made my way back to the restaurant and back to the table. When I got back, Zayn and Louis were laughing there butts off, Camille and Niall were trying not to laugh and Liam was no where to be found. I took my seat and opened my medication and took two out. I grabbed my drink and took my medication. When I was was done I put it back in my purse. I looked up to see Louis looking at me.

"What were those?" He asked

"Oh, just anti-depressants. I take them twice every 4-6 hours." I explained to him.

"Well I'm glad you're taking medication for your depression. T me it shows that you want to get the help you need." Zayn said.

"Need? I don't need help Zayn. I wanted to get it for myself." I told him.

"That's not what I meant, Kacie. Please calm down."

"Don't tell me to calm down. I'm just overwhelmed with things. Sorry I snapped at you Zayn." I said.

"It's ok, you're forgiven." Liam still hasn't come back. He couldn't have left, I have the car keys.

"Where did Liam go?" Niall asked like he knew what my mind was saying.

"Don't know, said he'll be right back." Louis answered looking down at his plate after his eyes caught mine.

"I'll go look." I said getting up from the table. I went to check the back to find him not there. I decided to risk it and check the men's room. As I went to knock on the door, it swung open and I met a red eyed Liam Payne.

"Liam?" I asked softly.

"Kacie...." he said.

"Listen, Liam I'm sorry for what I did back there. I didn't me-" he cut me off by takin my face in his hands and kissed me. This kiss had love, compassion, promises, and secrets hidden behind it. He pulled away and looked into my eyes.

"It's ok, just... Don't over estimate why I keep things from you. Can you do that? Not think the bad before the good?" He asked pulling me from the men's room. I nodded my head and we walked back to the table.

We got back and finished our meal and conversations. When the final bill came, Louis grabbed it.

"I got it guys my treat!" He said. He grabbed his wallet from the back of his wallet and pulled out his debit card. He handed it to the waitress when she came back and smiled at everyone.

"So does anyone else have anything to say before Camille and I leave?" He asked taking her hand and looking at Liam.

"Nope!" Niall said excitedly holding Zayns arm.

"Liam?" He asked again. Liam went red and gave his thinking face.

"Liam?" I asked again, giving him a look too

"Uh, I, uh." He stuttered. I kept looking at him not sure what he was wanting to say. He took in a deep breath and looked at me.

"I just wanted to say...." Liam started.
