December 20, 2018
This will be my last post before the holidays because I can only access my account from school. I wanted this post to be something sort of Christmas-y so I thought that I would talk a bit about what this season is really about.
As a kid, I would think about the gifts that I was going to be receiving more than anything. Now that I have gotten older I actually have no idea what I actually really want for Christmas. mostly I just want to have all my good friends close to me. Gifts are less important than they used to be. This may not be the case for most of you, but I want to remind you that Christmas isn't about the gifts or decorations, it's about Jesus and how he came to earth to eventually save us all. The gifts don't even compare to the Joy Jesus brought to the world that day.
I hope this puts Christmas into perspective for you. Have a great Christmas filled with Love, Joy and Peace. Remember that Jesus is the reason for the season!
Luke 2:14, "Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests."
