Today as I was in the change room after gym class, some girls and I were talking about Christianity and what we believe. We eventually got on the topic of living out we believe. These girls all had very different view points. One girl said that we shouldn't go out in the halls and start preaching what we believe is right. This caught me by surprise. I believe that this can be an effective way to witness if you have the right people. What I noticed most about the conversation with these girls was that they all didn't seem to know what God calls us to do. We are supposed to be a bold witness for Christ. We are to be witnesses without anything holing us back, but the key is to do it in love.

Many people have turned away from God because of being forced to believe. I think this is really sad because these people don't know how amazing it is to know that Christianity is based on love. They believe that we are all out there just to push what we believe on others. Some people might try to do that and that is really sad. So what does God say about witnessing?

He says that we are to go out and preach the gospel to all the world (Mark 16:15). He also tells us to make disciples of all nations (Mathew 28:19). These were Jesus' words to his disciples and also to us as Christians. We are to witness in our daily lives by loving everyone and standing up for what we believe no matter what anyone says.

So I encourage you all to live boldly. Don't hide when something related to your faith comes up in a conversation. Don't go hating others at school then say your Christian. Live like God wants you to and Love others like there's no tomorrow.
