Tempted

Chapter 8

Raven's POV

My eyes widen in fear. I started to breath faster than normal.

"N-no I-I can't tell you anything." I shake my head as I stutter.

"If you're worried about something happening to you don't. We'll protect from this moment on. You have my word." Harry spoke as he looked me in the eyes and slowly nodded his head.

"You don't know Jonathan like I do. If he finds out I said anything he will come after me or worse he could go after my family." I whisper. I close my eyes and begin to shake my head again.

I feel Niall shift towards me so he can see my face.

"Raven you can trust us. I promise with everything in me you or your family won't get hurt. I will even watch Jade and make sure she is safe." I immediately turn my head to look at Niall once he starts talking about Jade.

Do I really wanna do this? Do I want the constant fear of having to look over my shoulder to make sure that I'm safe?

I know how Jonathan is and I know absolutely nothing about these boys. All I do officially know is that they go to my school, are new in town and have a bad reputation.

I look at all of the boys before making up my mind.

"What do you wanna know?" I ask Harry

"Everything. Anything you can tell us about Jonathan and the Wolfs would be a huge help."

I take a deep breath before I begin talking.

"They're the biggest gang in town-"

"Yeah we know that." Harry says. "We need new information."

"Well if you'd let me finish you'd get what you want." Harry gives me a look before releasing a huge sigh. He moves his hands in a circular motion to tell me to continue.

"They're the biggest gang in town. It's been that way since before I was born. I've talked to many families that have lives here for generations and each of them say the same thing."

"And that is?" Harry asks interrupting me once again.

"That there were never any gangs. At least there weren't until a bunch of new families moved in town. They were all young couples with these ambitious dream of having the perfect family with the perfect job and the right amount of money." I look at them all in the face.

"Who were the families?" I turn my head to see that Louis is now standing and walking across the room.

The Collins, The Smith's and-." I stop not able to finish the list of names before I start choking on my words.

"Who's the other family Raven?" I hear Niall whisper in my ear.

"And the Hathaway's." I say as I look down at the ground ashamed of the story that I'm soon to tell.

When I look up I see that all of the boys seem confused. Out the corner of my eye I see a bunch of random guys standing in the hall by the door listening to what I have to say.

"Don't worry about them. They're with us." Louis tells me once he sees me looking. Nodding my head I decide to continue on with the story, but I'm interrupted before I can continue.

"What do these families have to do with anything?" Harry asks me. He sends me a slight glare as if he's angry because I haven't got to the part that he wants to hear about.

"You'll see why it's important if you just let me finish the fucking story." I roll my eyes at Harry after I finish my sentence. I don't bother to wait for him to answer as I continue.
