Facing Our Progenitors

Pisces' POV
At first nothing happened....
You don't know how scared and panicked I am!
It is as if all hope is drained out of my body...
But then, something happened! From where I'm standing, right in front of me, in midair, was glowing. At first, a small dim light and little by little, a portal like gateway opened up.
"W-What is this?...." I trailed off, staring at the beautiful doorway. It's almost as if it come right out of one of my dreams!

Step by step, I slowly make my way to it and then put my hand through it cautiously. Suddenly, I got sucked in! It sucked me in like some hungry beast devouring its prey... My heart pounded harshly against my ribcage as I stared wide eyed at the.... weird space-like starry sky and the insane speed I'm travelling at. And then, I... I arrived... Along with... everyone else, along with...... her?!

"MIRE?!" I shouted, heart beating as if I just ran a mile. The said female turned her head to me and widened her eyes. She then smiled brightly and ran towards me. "Pi!" She exclaimed and then hugged me tightly. Mire... Oh god.... You're still here...

Embracing her tightly to me, I'm scared of letting her go, loosing her again. I couldn't help but to cry; not tears of despair, shame nor pity, but of joy, hope and elation. "Pi, you've grown so much!" She chuckled. "I haven't seen you in ages! Around.......a century...in human years..." She trailed off hesitantly. "Mire.... I'm sorry. I'm so sorry..." "No, it's my fault for being weak. It's an older sister's duty to protect her young ones after all." She hummed softly.

"Ahem. We know this is a touching moment and all but can you all pay attention to us?" "George!" "What Ivan?" "This is a touching moment for the Fishes family! Right Patrick, Peter?" "It sure is Ivan!" I then hesitantly let go of Mire and looked around me. My friends did the same, suspicious expressions plastered onto their faces as they stared at this... group of people on these well detailed podiums that is holding out a flat area with extremely refined decorations, mostly decorated on things related to fire, earth, air or water. Our paranoid suspicions all clear away when one voice explained who they are.

"Don't worry about them! They are your ancestors."
"VIRGO!!!" We all chorused.
"W-What?! A-Ancestors? Then where is Villa?" Cancer asked shyly as she looked around at the more noble-like group.
"I'm right here."

And then, out of nowhere, Villa suddenly appeared. "Villa!" We all chorused. "It's been awhile Villa~!" A youthful looking woman exclaimed cheerfully as she ran over to Villa and gave her a hug, her steel-like hair bouncing behind her. "It sure has, Lydia." "Looks like you really did lead these little ones here." "I sure did Hydra!" "Missed me?" "Scorpius~! Of course I have! How could I not miss my best friend?!" "...I honestly expect you to say something more meaningful and... loving but I guess this will do." To be honest, it is like a reunion right in front of us. As much reunions as I went to have the same atmosphere and empty complements and words, this is...... special...

I just stared at the group, all smiling and laughing, full of life and this almost miraculous hope. Despite their mature, experienced and affluent appearances, they behave like little children seeing each other after a really long time of being separated... All are yearning for each other's company and appreciation... Is this.. what a real reunion like? The words that come out of their mouths are genuine and you can share your emotions freely without any scolding after the reunions... This warm sensation... This welcoming feeling... I... I like this... Holding my chest by instinct, I couldn't help but to smile. I gently looked around me, looking at my fri- I mean, family's expressions. They all... seem to have the same thoughts as me! After some time, they seems to focus on us!

"Hmm, so this is the current ascent of me?" A tough looking warrior asked as he walked over to Aries, started to inspect him and started... feeling Aries body??? What's going on?! Before I can comprehend what's happening, someone covered... my eyes??? "Protect the innocent ones." I can hear Aquarius mutter, "I'm on it Aqua." Another voice said which I assume is Ivan. "...Your muscle mass is alright, the amount of power you have isn't much... as expected from the future generations since there is no war. However, I'll give you credit of having a strong will and dedication... Oh? Bruises? What have you been through?!" The hand is then removed and the man seems to be have annoyed Aries.... "SHUT IT YOU OLD MAN!" Aries fumed as he punched the man in the gut. Instead of the man gasping for breath, Aries seems to be the one gasping and yelping and shaking his hand furiously..... How strong is that man? Instead of helping Aries with his sore hand, the descents all laughed at Aries. "Oh my god! Old man?! That's just like you Alexander!" This... handsome king/prince guy said. "He is quite weak, don't you say?" This Scorpio lookalike-except-he's-a-male said. "His hand is injured just by punching you." "Oh my god! An injury! Let me heal it!" This Healer exclaimed and quickly run over to Aries to tend his injury. Aries seems irked...
