Why have you not told them directly? "A child is nothing you can hide forever", they said. But then again, it wasn't their business and if you didn't want to talk about it, then you didn't. End of story. However, they would have appreciated it if you mention something this important. They were a little hurt that you didn't open about about it, but they can't change it. To your surprise they might react completely different from what you expected. They like kids. Adore them (Mikey) but somehow don't know how to deal with them (Raph). Give it a try, they certainly wanted it. They might even smile at you and say "how could you think I wouldn't date you? Because of your child? If anything you shouldn't date me ... I mean look at me!". It was very awkward at first as you can imagine but your child and him got along. And who knows (depending on the AU) you might end up with a second child.
