Leo didn't really care where you came from. Was your accent nice and something different, sure. But to him it didn't define you. He loved you no matter what country you're from. However, calm and collected Leo was nervous today. He Wass going to introduce you to his family. And oh how he prayed that you liked each other. He loved you and them very much and didn't want you to not get along. You don't have to love his brothers but at least like them. They knew about you, they knew where you're from and they knew pretty much everything else: from your accent, to your eye color to the way you laugh. Gosh, Leo was annoying them from time to time. Splinter however was smiling every time you were mentioned. Although he has never met you before, just seeing how happy you made his son was enough for him to like you.
The meeting went a bit awkward but overall better than expected. All of you were nervous, didn't talk much but at the end no one was hurt or even worse: dead. Leo was relieved. He pictured the worst case scenarios already, can you blame him? He likes it when things go smoothly and according to plan. Actually, some of them - especially Mikey - were really interested in you. Yes, they live in New York and hear a bunch of accents on a daily basis but GOOD GOD YOU ARE BRITISH. How often to they talk to someone like that? How often to they talk to humans in the first place? Exactly. The next time everything would be a little easier, you've met now, know the names, know the faces. It's always weird to meet new people, especially family, but it's something you just have to do.
