Contrary to what you may think, Raph actually doesn't mind having a shy girlfriend. Opposites attract, remember? He actually does remember the firs time he met you and how you could barely talk to him. At first he thought it was because of the usual: a giant, mutated turtle talking to you. But no, you actually wanted to talk to him, he was interesting, grumpy (yet fun) and fearless. It's just ... you were too shy to say anything. you thought he'd take you for a fool. Little did both of you know that you were interested in each other.
Once yo started dating you opened up a little but were still rather quiet. Raph didn't think much of it. You talked to him, still stuttering a little (some days more, some less), and he was used to it. No you didn't walk up to anyone and talked to them and no you didn't want to walk through huge crowds - have you ever been on Times Square? ew - so what? No one forced you. He understood it just fine. However, if you need him to help, he will. Is you're anxiety through the roof? You're embarrassed cause you stuttered a lot today? He's trying to help as best as he can. Trying to calm you down, telling you that stuttering is nothing bad and that being shy is not a sin.
