They probably wouldn't believe their ears. You did not just say what they think you did, did you? Theirs hearts would be racing, scared to make a move and waking you up. They actually didn't mean to creep up on you, they just needed something from the kitchen and there you were, on the couch, taking a nap. You often took naps at their place, mainly cause work was stressing you out and being close to the turtles calmed you down. It's like when someone next to you is playing a video game and you read a book, you just feel better having this person next to you, talking doesn't need to be involved.
You said it in just a soft, sleepy voice that they, like I said, didn't believe it. But then again, what if their ears weren't playing tricks on them? They're mutants, their hearing is much better than ours. As a matter of fact, they were 95 % sure that you just said you loved them. For a brief second they actually thought about waking you up and asking you. Or just saying "huh?" and then maybe get another sleepy answer back.
They were gentleman enough to not tell you once you woke up. How awkward would that be? "Hey guess what you said in your sleep, (Y/N)?". Nah. But now that they had confirmation that you loved (or at least liked them) they might make a move on you.
