Contrary to what a lot of people might think, mating season is not sexy or hot. The boys's need to mate with you is much more dominant than written down in fanfics. They're animals after all. Mutated ones. The strength, stamina and overall power they have is nothing to underestimate. Although they would never ever hurt you, not during sex & not during anything else, they will be rough. Much rougher than usual. And when your pms kicks in you have to think about this: do you really want this or not? Don't just say yes because their animal instinct is kicking in. Sure, you can have sex while on your period (it might be a little uncomfortable) but are you willing to "do it" with a heated up turtle? If there's only a little doubt, stay away from them. Don't force yourself if you don't want to. They will understand - kind of, once mating season has slowed down.
