I'm sure they would have a reaction similar to what most people have: shock. Most people think that people with ADHD just can't sit still for 5 minutes which makes them (the people not diagnosed with ADHD) lose their temper easily and get mad at them. Now granted, the boys wouldn't get annoyed at you, they love you too much and are trying to understand it, but they might need some help with adjusting. Tell them that ADHD is not a deadly disease and that there are different types of it. Some symptoms and types are more "annoying" to the average person than others. Tell them that sometimes it won't be easy and whether you takes medication for it or not. Try to be as informative as you can - and if you can't give them something to read about it or tell them to google it. The most important thing to tell them is that no matter what you do (for example being inattentive / not listening) you're never doing that on purpose and have no malicious intent.
One they know that they would feel much better as well. They know that it can be difficult at times but you're trying your best and so are they. Will all of it be rainbows and sunshine? No. But together you learn how to overcome things. They wouldn't treat you any different let alone break up with you because of ADHD.
