We all know Leo (both 2012 and 2k14/16) is a perfectionist. Go hard or go home. He'd rather get things done immediately than say "oh I'll do it tomorrow". Once the task is done, it's done for good and he doesn't have to worry about it anymore. You were the complete opposite. You'd either actually do it tomorrow or just start the task one day and finish it the other. It would drive him a little insane and make him nervous. In fact he'd probably do it himself instead of waiting for you to do it. Let's say you need to unload the dishwasher and said "I'll do it later" ... well he'd just get up and do it himself. And it's not like you absolutely can't work at all. You were strong, determined and smart. You knew how to do certain things better than your boyfriend and he really appreciated that. Also, keep in mind that you have a job that's draining you and absolutely not making you happy nowadays. Of course you'd rather sit on the couch and watch some TV instead of vacuuming the floor.
Both of you should acknowledge the other and maybe meet in the middle. You should help a little more and Leo should calm down and let you do your thing every now and then. Neither of you are hurting the other by being busy / lazy. Talk about it (especially Leo since he has trouble with opening up) and find a way to work it out.
