Around lunch time, the narcotics and gang unit came over and we had a long conversation on how to go about this case. They tried to get us to hand over the case, but Kihyun refused and made them corporate with us by arguing with them in court room like manner.
"Officer Choi, please go get the files on the Diamond Backs," says Captain Yu of the narcotics and gang unit.
"Yes, sir," Officer Choi says. After he comes back with the files, we went through them one by one.
"Man, look at this rap sheet. It's a mile long," Jooheon says after he whistles.
"It's only four pages," Changkyun says as he rolls his eyes at the dimpled male.
"It's only an exaggeration," Jooheon replies.
"Officer Ji, please give the Homicide unit a briefing on this gang," Captain Yu says. The dark haired male sitting next to him nods and get up. He goes over to where the clear white board with things relating to this case was on.
"The Diamond Backs are a notrious gang here in Seoul, but they suprisingly only have a small portion of territory. They make up for that by having connections. They mainly traffic drugs...as far as we know. They are rumored to be working with the Silver Roses, a illusive gang who does just about every bad things in the book. The victim was the leader of the Diamond Backs....," Officer Ji drones on and on.
I didn't pay attention to the rest of the briefing as the aura that Kihyun is radiating is chilling to the bones. He is clenching his jaw with a cold look in his eyes. I reached over to him and placed my hand on top of his joined hands. He freezes momentarily before looking at me. He gives me a knowing look and a small smile before turning back to listen to the end of the briefing.
