Ch.70: Untitled

"What did you just say," I asked to be sure of what I had just heard.

"Umm, the results for the needle that you guys found is in," Changkyun says slowly. 

"We'll be right there," I said and didn't wait for a response before hanging up. I walked quickly into my bedroom. I went up to Hyunwoo who had rolled onto his stomach. "Hyunwoo, wake up," I said. He doesn't move but lets out a questioning noise. "The results are in," I said a bit louder this time. He rolls onto his back and opens his eyes slowly.

"What results," he asks in a husky voice.

"For the needle. Of course. Get up. Let's go," I said.

"Okay," he mumbles before sitting up. When I saw how ruffled up his hair was, I stifled a laugh and covered my mouth for good measure. He blinks slowly and then looks at me curiously. "What? Is there something on my face," he asks before rubbing at his face with his hands. 

"Huh? No...," I paused before continuing to say, "Anyways, let's hurry it up and go to the precinct."

~forty-one minutes later~

~at the precinct~

"Well, that was fast," Jooheon says when he sees us walk in.

I ignored him and asked, "Where are the results?"

"Jeez, couldn't say good morning or something," he says with a slight pout.

"Here," Changkyun says and holds out the file.

"You are going to be surprised who the lab traced from this needle," Jooheon adds.

"Why would he be surprised," Hyunwoo asks as he drags a hand through his hair in an attempt to tame it into something more presentable. 

"Just look," Changkyun says. I opened the file and looked at what the report had to say. The moment I read the source I subconsciously let go of the file. Hyunwoo grabs my bicep and shakes me. 

"Are you okay," he asks. 

"I'm fine," I said through gritted teeth.
