Ch. 65: Spending the Night (Part 2)

A/N: EXO's comeback got me dead. The choreo, lyrics, looks, and CGI are on point af. I really love the part where they sing "A Thousand Nights."  On a side note, I made a public IG acct (nine_rcj). 

Hyunwoo

~outside of Kihyun's apartment~

"This is me," Kihyun says as we stopped in front of a door that had the number 1122 in gold on a small black plaque. He quickly types in the pass code and then presses the pound key. The lock system lets out a short snippet of music signaling that the pass code that was entered was correct. He opens the door and gestures for me to go inside before him. I nodded and entered. I sighed in relief as the cool night air wasn't hitting me incessantly. 

After spotting the house slippers lined up a feet ahead, I toed off my wet shoes and took off my socks before putting on a pair of house slippers. Kihyun soon follows suit after he shut the door. i looked around and saw that everything was very neat. It was almost like I am at a open house or IKEA store. If there wasn't any personal belongings or other objects that indicate life, I would have thought no one lived here. 

"You have a lovely home," I stammered as I was shivering from the cold.

"Thank you. You must be cold. You can use the bathroom right there. I'll bring you a change of clothes," he says while pointing at a dark brown door. I nodded and walked into the bathroom. The second I went in I was going to lock the door behind me but then I remembered that he was going to bring me some clothes to wear. So, I didn't. I quickly took off my clothes and tossed them into the hamper that was inside before going inside the shower. 

When I was about to turn on the water, I heard a humming sound. I listened closely to see if it was Kihyun but it was really the heater. I then turned the handle to turn on the water, which then splashed me with cold water. I cursed out loudly as I forgot that the water in the beginning is cold. I move to the side so that the cold water wouldn't hit me anymore and waited until it became warm.  

A few minutes after I began to shower, I heard the door open and some shuffling sounds. "I placed the clothes on the counter. I hope that they fit," Kihyun says before leaving the bathroom and closing the door behind him.

"Thank you," I called out after him, which got no response. Soon enough, I finished taking a shower and felt refreshed. I took a towel from the shelf under the small table next to the shower door to dry myself off. After I finished,  I used the same towel to wrap around my waist before stepping out onto the tiled floor. I walk over to the pile of clothes to see what he had put out for me. It consisted of a white t-shirt, a purple plaid pajama pants, and a pair of black boxers. I looked at the sizes for them and scoffed lightly as they were small for me to wear.

"Well, shit," I muttered to myself.
