Ch. 99: RiaDBSC (Part 6)

Kihyun

I lunged forward and went to stab him in the chest but he grabs onto my wrist with both hands trying to prevent me from stabbing him. Just as the tip of the blade pierced him, he headbutts me which threw me off and made me drop the knife. He tackles me to the ground before punching me repeatedly in the face. 

I brought my arms up to block my face from the onslaught. But, he still manages to get a punch in that most certainly nearly knock the living daylights out of me. My vision blurs and my ears begin to ring.

I almost felt like giving up when I remembered why I was doing this. I blinked rapidly which somehow got my vision to clear up. I reached up and dug my thumb in the wound that I had inflicted on him with the knife. He is distracted for a few seconds which gave me the opportunity to get him off of me. 

Before either one of us can do anything, a door opens and bangs against the wall that it was connected to. Then, I hear numerous people shout, "Freeze! Seoul PD!" I looked back and saw Hyunwoo and the others. 

When he realized that it was me there, he ran over to me while the others went after the right hand man who probably ran when I looked back. "Holy shit, Ki! I thought I told you to stay home and let us hand this matter."

"And, let you guys have all the fun? I think not," I grunted as my jaw ached so bad. 

"How can you be so-," he stops himself before continuing to ask me a barge of questions about my well being.

"One at a time. I can't answer them all," I said with the best smile that I could muster at the moment. 

"Kihyun, you-," he began to say but I interrupted him.

"Hyung, let's go before the boss gets away," I said before getting up while grimacing as pain shot throughout my body. 

"But-"

"Let's go," I said in a serious tone.
