Ch. 38: Deal or No Deal? (Part 2)

Kihyun

"Cheh, nothing you can offer will make me spill," he grunts.

"Oh really..? How does parole sound and witness protection?"

"Right....Like, you guys can protect me. I am safer here."

"Hmm, I'm sure a guy like you did much more than just tax evasion and fraud," I said thoughtfully. 

"...you play a hard game, Prosecutor Yoo."

"I'll take that as a compliment."

"There is nothing to find."

"Everyone has skeletons in their  closets," I replied as I push my glasses up the bridge of my nose, so that it wasn't on the tip of my nose.

"Not me."

"We'll see about that. I'll have you know that I have yet to fail in getting a conviction against someone I face in court," I said slowly while looking into his eyes. We stared into each other's eyes for a solid minute before he started to spill the beans.

~back at the precinct~ 

"Where's Kihyun-," I started to say, but cut myself off and asked Jooheon, "Where is Prosecutor Yoo? We got a new case."

"I don't know. Do I look like his keeper? Also, shouldn't you know where he is? Because you are his boyfriend after all," he snorts.

"Yo- Wait. How did you know that we are dating?"

"I would have to say the look on your face when you saw him walk in through those doors sometime ago."

"Am I that obvious?"

"Yep."

"Well...shit then," I grumbled and looked away as I felt my cheeks heat up.

"Oh my god! Is THE Son Hyunwoo blushing?!"

"Shut up, Jooheon," I growled and shoved him, which only caused him to slide over to Changkyun and crashed into him. Changkyun clicks his tongue in annoyance and smacks Jooheon upside the head.

"Ow! What was that for, Changkyun?! I didn't bump into you because I wanted too."

"I don't care. You still did bump into me and made me draw a huge line across the report I was writing," Changkyun retorts. 

"It isn't that big of a deal. You can just rewrite it. Also, why don't you just type it up instead? It's better and more efficient," Jooheon says.

"I just like doing some things the analog way. Now, go bother someone else," Changkhyun states.

"Hmph," Jooheon pouts and then glares at me. 

"Sorry," I said while laughing.

"Ha. HA. hA. Laugh it all up, Hyung. I'll get you back  for this real soon."
